How 'worth it' is Pinehurst No. 2

I don't know if you decided yet or not but I'd say save your money and go somewhere else. Maybe the most overrated course I've ever played IMO. I actually like a couple other courses there better. No real scenery or memorable holes on #2. Just a bunch of similar, longish holes with mushroom greens. If that's your thing, then go for it!

I gotta say I made a trip to pinehurst a few years back from NYC played 36 everyday....when came time to play no 2 yes it is expensive Id rec a package to get monies worth and also a caddy or forecaddy it was def worth it on no 2....it was a great experience and luckily played my best 18 of the trip there possibly due to caddy
