Took my Crazy 435 driver with Crazy LS Noir shaft out yesterday. While it does hit long bombs, it is not the most forgiving driver. If my swing is off a touch, the results aren't great. Debating whether I should try and sell it.

That's a shame. I wonder if the shaft isn't matched for you. I can't imagine selling mine.

Free, yup Masda. It's a great head and pairs well with the speeder. Honestly though, I feel like I am throwing it way too high, even though I know high is good. My shots don't balloon, they just start on a good line and keep going up. I've tried to keep it down a couple of times and either a) not skilled enough or b) this thing just wants to touch the clouds. Probably A but dang I'm so used to a lower ball flight. I've always played lower lofts to help cut some of my spin. Either way can't really argue with results...however...really curious how I would do with the 388. But I just dropped some pretty decent coin on my current set up, can't really see myself with another $$$ driver...but the 388 is tempting!

Yeah, I like my low ball flight. A teacher I used to go to and some of my buddies keep telling me I need a higher ball flight but I don't feel in control when I launch it so high...esp w irons, I know the pros hit it real high but there's a world of difference btw me & them...

Jbeam is built for the higher club head speed players and I agree not as forgiving as other brands. If you're not 100+ I would look at epon or ryoma. However, they do feel sweet and sound great. Perhaps I needed higher loft. Just couldn't launch the 10.5 very well...

M, that jp430 sldr does look nice but am guessing it's not for the slower swingers either...maybe I could try a 13* loft...

The maxima is hard to beat fellas. The sp has been putting me in some crazy places...I had a 55 yard wedge shot on a 380 yard par 4 last w/e...never thought I would play bomb and gouge on a 6900 yard track...

I've got a 435 and a 435r and they are punishing when your swing is off. Still like to take them out every now and then though.

The TPRX is loud and doesn't feel the greatest. Performance is good. The 460HX feels more explosive and is long but has a lot of bulge and roll which can be a problem for some.

I had my club fitter adjust my Crazy 435 and it made a big difference. He cut it down to 44.5 inches, then hot melted the head to bring the swing weight back up to D2. I am finding the sweet spot much more often. It has become more consistent, and the sound and feel have improved with the hot melt. I really enjoyed hitting it the past week. Now it will be a close fight between this and my new SLDR 430 driver I got today, for the starting spot in the bag.

I may regret asking this...

I currently play a Ping G25, 10.5 stock R shaft PUREd, and a Henri Griffitts Praxis Mid/Low Launch (12º I think, R flex. Both drivers have stock length shafts. Swing speed is low 90's, tempo is moderate. I don't play the HG too often as it feels dead at impact and doesn't give much feedback, but I hit it well. The G25 is my gamer and I'll occasionally get some very nice mid ball flight bombs with better roll out than my previous G20.

I was thinking of waiting for the next in the G series, but am now skeptical of USDM gear.

What might be some models I should start researching that would be logical with the success I've had with my current drivers? I'm looking for a stock/head combo to begin with and have never hit less than a 430 cc driver.

Thanks

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
