New from Louisiana

Hey all,

 

I am from Mandeville, Louisiana and have been playing off and on for fun since I could hold a club but could really play a lot until after college. I played D1 tennis in college and played golf as an outlet and stress reliever all through school. I am an 8-10 handicapper, and the scores are dropping the more I play. I look forward to adding to Forum and hopefully finding some pointers and maybe a player or two in my area(ish)!

First welcome and get ready to spend some time here if you are truly a golf addict. Mandeville, nice place. I used to work for a company located there. Spent a lot of time at the ACME Oyster place. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

Welcome to WRX. And while I guess it's touristy, the wife and I love ACME and look forward to our next trip back to NOLA

Thanks for the welcome! Had this forum open in my browser at work for the past few days ha! Acme is really good, I am more of a gator meat fan myself but oyster are pretty awesome too.

@justasgood - I actually grew up in Beau Chene and still play most of my golf there.
