2007 Burner shaft replacement

I want to replace my stock shaft on my 2007 Burner Draw driver with the Aldila NS 65 Regular shaft.I have the stock 50 gram shaft in regular and when i hit it it looks like it is really far but just balloons and drops out of the sky at about 210 yards.My swing speed is about 90 mph.The driver goes straight as an arrow but it gets no roll.Will this shaft help or should i get another shaft other than the Aldila?

Another shaft to consider for a "flatter" trajectory would be the Proforce V2.
It is available in either a 57 or 66g option. The V2 and Aldila NV are two of the more popular shafts chosen for reshafts from stock Oem shafts.

[/quote] I bought the Aldila Rip Phenom 55 R shaft that was taken out the R1 Driver.Nice and light.Bought it on EBay.

Let us know how it works out. I have the same problem with my drives. 88mph, 2100 rpm spin, 16* launch and no roll for me.

Are you sure about those numbers? They seem close to ideal, and you should be getting plenty of roll with those spin numbers.

To the OP, I had a Burner 2007 with a Proforce V2 in a regular flex and I loved it. Just be aware that both the NV or the V2, even in regular flex, are going to feel much more firm compared to the stock regular.

[/quote] I took out the driver with the new shaft I put in and I love it.The shaft made a difference as the ball just does not balloon the way it once did and gained about 10 yards and never lost accuracy.

Good to hear that worked out for you.

I have a 2007 Burner 10.5* w/stock shaft 46" REAX 50g stiff flex. My swing speed is about 95 and I avg between 220 - 240 yds with an occasional 265 drive. I like the driver but have a problem with a nasty hook at times so am looking to improve accuracy. Been reading a lot on these forums about shorter drivers so I just bought a 2007 Burner 10.5* with REAX 50g shaft in regular flex but at 44.5". Hoping for improved consistency and accuracy. Unfortunately probably have to wait a couple months yet to test drive it.
