Can anyone recommend an affordable wedge set to compliment Ping G15 irons

left my favorite 58* Cleveland wedge at a local course that never turned up.

now i am thinking i may just replace my old SW at the same time.

anyone recommend a set or a couple irons for an intermediate player using G15 irons?

Did you think about using the set wedges ? I gamed G25 irons for a season and had the 6i-9i, PW, UW, S and L.

Did you think about using the set wedges ? I gamed G25 irons for a season and had the 6i-9i, PW, UW, S and L.

the only wedge that came in the set was PW. so i'd have to find the UW, S and L.

Like mentioned above, Ping Glide wedges are really good, I also played Cleveland 588-RTX and they are amazing as well...you can get a nice set off the Bay...

That is a great post. Very nice wedges the M/Bs are. Would be a perfect complement to the G15s.

If you have the UW, my suggestion would be to check out the PING Tour Gorge or Glide (not Glide 2.0) wedges. You could pick up a 54* and 58* for a song, especially the Tour Gorge...

These are two very good suggestions. I am currently playing the Anser 54/58 and like them pretty well too.

You have a 45* PW which means you have options to consider. You could go with the following and even out your gaps:

49* - 53* - 57*

50* - 55* - 60*

51* - 57* - 63*

Your PW is 35.75" (if stock) and your 50* is probably 35.25". Find a 56* - 58* 900 Form Forged wedge in 35.25" or 35.00" and you're golden...

The old Ping iWedge was a solid performer. That would compliment the G-15s nicely.

I really like the i20 or i25 U wedge and S wedge. Have a Glide 58. Makes for a nice progression.

IMO, do not buy a used wedge. Buy new, customize the wedge and save $$ - suggest Maltby wedges. 2 wedges should come in at less than $100.
