Strongest lofted (new-ish) hybrid?

Is the Ping G410 2 hybrid adjusted down -1.5 (for 15.5) the strongest lofted hybrid to come out recently? I know there are some old Adams that were stronger but I'm not really interested in those.

Looking for a little more accuracy off the fairway on Par 5s, and want to replace my 3w with something I can rip 250ish. Probably need 14ish loft with the reduced length, but I'll take a whack with as close as I can get. Just need to know what to ask for when I get to the local store. Thanks!

Mizuno CLK 16* adjusts as low as 14*.

was gonna mention this too! Its a monster of a hybrid. pretty low spinning and low launch for a hybrid..just harder to find typically.

there's gotta be a new one coming out soon b/c the 3 pga superstores in my area all dont have any in stock

Why wouldn't you just reshaft the 3wd to something a bit shorter and heavier?

Krank is still making hybrids, some get down to the 11° range

What are the benefits of a 15/16 degree hybrid compared to a “regular” 3 wood?

I ended up cutting down my 3-W and adjusting the loft up a bit and it's been fantastic.

CLK. Also the SLDR came in 17* and can be taken to 15* and it is a longer hitting, lower spin head than the CLK

And yes I have considered chopping down the 3 wood, but 3 inches is a long way to go. The heads are drastically different weights as well so I feel like it would take a lot of finicking to get it right. This is a much easier place to start this experiment, IMO :)

I've got the G410 Hybrid set at 16 degrees with an AD IZ 95X. The heavier shaft weight keeps flight mid-low but can still hit a higher cut when needed.

Experiment not off to the best start. It's looking like the Ping G410 at 15.5° is a good ~10 yards shorter (carrying 230) than my current 15° 3W (carrying 240). I'm actually finding it a bit more difficult to launch the hybrid off the mat as well, lots of unintentional stinger type shots. Surprising because I would have thought the hybrid would be the higher of the two, but even off the tee it isn't.

It's in the bag for now as it gaps OK, but it wasn't the potential replacement I was hoping for. Not sure I should even try the CLK now since it doesn't seem like it would be as close as I thought

Of course it will be shorter.. but I didn't expect that much shorter. That's a lot.

And I specifically chose my 3H over a wood because the hybrid launched higher in my testing, so I was surprised to find the opposite this time around at a not-really-that-much-lower loft.

I mean the 3 wood is also 2 1/4 inches longer, so 10 yards should be expected

The PXG 0317X can be adjusted down to 15 degrees.

It's easy to say these things, but in this case the difference is purely off the launch. Average ball speed with both clubs was 144mph for me.

I tried this and found the H65 2 hybrid at 16 went no further than my Apex 3 Hybrid at 20 but was harder to hit consistently.
