Tour Edge CBX Titanium Hybrids - how long?

Looking for experience from those who have used Tour Edge CBX hybrids with the titanium face - I think its the 119 version and the original CBX. I'm looking at one in 18* to fill the gap between a 3 wood and 20* DI.

Does the titanium face mean the head will be significantly longer than a steel faced head? My main concern is that the hybrid will be too long for the gaps I'm trying to fill.

I don't have the chance to test it beforehand so, just trying to gather some evidence. Thanks!

I’ve had my CBX 119 in my bag since release, I struggled with hybrids and the dreaded hook, I’ve gone through dozens of hybrids, including the TM M6, G410, Apex, F9, so many others, just a constant routine of buying and selling until I stumbled on the CBX 119, best hybrid I’ve ever played. So accurate and the flight is just so **** good, low and piercing. One thing I love most about it is the fact that you can really put a strong swing on it without having to worry about the left side, if I wanted to flight it 230 on a long par 5, I can do it. Never thought I’d ever be able to do the things I can do with this hybrid. Can’t recommend this club enough.

I replaced my Apex 20* and 23* hybrids with the CBX 119 22* and added a 4-iron to the bag. As far as length goes, the CBX falls in between my old hybrids which is what I was looking for. I thought the Apex was pretty long, but also very consistent (not extra hot on big hits).

CBX is just as good for me with slightly smaller shape heal to toe. To answer your question, I don't think it's significantly longer, but it is low spin. I'm using same shaft I used in my Apexs. Length is 39.5" which falls right in between my old Apex hybrids (40" & 39").

Great feedback thanks. Found a deal on an 18* head so might just pull the trigger on that and test it out compared to my 18 and 20 apex. Hoping for something easier to launch and a touch more forgiving than the apex, which its sounds like this one it.

I actually find it slightly less forgiving than the Apex due to its smaller size. Overall I think it performs similarly, but it is slightly longer pound for pound (prob due to lower spin).

Alternate idea could be the cbx hybrid instead of the cbx 119

I have the original CBX and absolutely love it. I bought a 16 degree hybrid to test against my TEE CB2 3 wood, which has been one of my favorites for a long time. As stated above, the spin is low, the club is anti-left, and I hit it as far, if not slightly farther than my 3 wood, even though it has one more degree of loft and a shorter shaft. Absolutely love this hybrid.
