Opinions of Nickent 4DX driver? Good or bad?

I'm looking for a good driver and a really decent price and the reviews I read have been very good regarding the Nickent 4DX driver. Anyone else has experience with this driver? I've been getting mixed reviews about the SR3 65 GRAM STIFF SHAFT as well.

If you hit it on the screws, its as good as any. Does not reward bad swings/contact. Its a great driver if hit purely.

Solid club, I have about 4 4DX/Evolver drivers. Stay away from the SR3 if possible as it is kinda flimsy. The stock V2 is much better, or pick up a Harrison Saga shaft of your choice for 50 bucks.

I've got two of them. They are the 4DX models, not the Evolvers. One is the SE with the black face and 10.5 degree loft. The other is standard with a 9 degree loft. They are excellent clubs for the price you can get them for these days. I agree with the first comment though, excellent when hit on the sweet spot. If you hit a bad shot or put a bad swing on it, you are going to know it...

Great driver,,I have two tour issue's that I played exclusively last year,,,they are really good.

Pretty much agree with everybody else. It is not the most forgiving but when you connect it shoots it out there a good ways. Distance is really good when you connect, but overall feel is not the best either. Sometimes I catch it on the sweet spot it feels like a horrible miss but goes straight and deep. All in all, you cant beat the price and the tech you get with it makes it a real nice buy.

Great head....have a Tour Issue with a V2 X in it and it is great.....but as said a little slow on off center hits for what else is out there....one of the flattest I have hit in the last cpl generations....unfortunately as a Titleist staffer can't use it in competition.... new 910 is first I have had that can beat it.

The supermag is a deeper face version of the 4DX and is more foregiving. I have a T spec version and it is a nice club.

I have the same. I have 4dx se in 10.5 and a 4dx in 9. My 10.5 has a grafaloy platinum and the 9 has a speeder 686. Both are great clubs. Muted sound, pretty long and reasonably forgiving. The only thing I would say against them is the stock ust shafts are pretty crappy. Put in your favorite shaft and you have a very solid gamer.

Just ordered one with the V2 shaft from RBG. There's like 7 shaft options for a 10.5 R flex. From the research I've done the V2 appears to be one of the better choices. Chances are I'll be swapping it out anyways, but if it proves to be good I'll just let it be.

Also there $49 bucks. Got mine for $65 with 3 day shipping. Woot!

I love the head, but dropped the V2 and installed a NV 65. Pretty darned good for me.

I have both a 4dx Tour Spec retail and a tour issue in 10.5. The real tour issue is a bomber, great feel. Put a tipped Axivcore black in it and it came alive. It now has a PX6.0 and is the perfect dry summer club with a ton of roll out.

Probally going to put a Harrison Saga in and wanted to see if there was anyone playing this combo?
Another side question to add here, how do you think the Saga would perform with the R9 ST compared to the stock supertri shaft?

wow, 4DX evolvers w/ tool and headcover for $49.99 from RBG. Too good to pass up so I ordered a 9.5 with a stiff shaft and a 10.5 regular. I'm between the two flexes and have been wanting to play around with both flex and face angle. This way I can swap them around and make 4 different combos so I'm hoping to learn what suits my needs best from this experiment. Should be fun for $100. Also, was at the golf shop the other day and they had this weirdly spec'd 4DX used for $40....it was a 8* tour spec head with a Fujikura shaft pull (Fit-On M gold) in regular flex....really weird combo but I was hitting it well on the monitor so I bought it. Figured with a 30 day return policy it was worth playing with. So by weeks end I'll have 3 4DX drivers sitting around. Not sure I'll end up keeping or gaming any of them, but with a total of $140 invested I'm not too concerned.

Currently playing a 4dx 9* with Saga S60 in it. GREAT combo. I don't find the club to be THAT unforgiving, but I have not hit much of the new stuff either.
