They are tour only Protos at this point but I think it's a good bet in time you'll get your wish.

If there is one weakness in Mitsubishi's line up it's the lack of a tech loaded hybrid shaft. Their shaft game just keeps getting better and better!

I think that's every company these days. There really are no stand out high end hybrid shafts. I was always a big fan of the old Fujikura 904hb, and I've read a bunch on guys liking and finding that Matrix hybrid to be it's peer. It seems as if there has been a real gap in that segment, in terms of universally loved shafts like the 904hb. I still have one and the launch and spin numbers are nearly the same, with spin being slightly lower with the Tensei Pro White hybrid. I strongly believe that anyone who loved the 904hb will be elated with Tensei Pro White hybrid.

Does the diamana thump not already fill this gap, or does it not have as low a ball flight?

or maybe too high priced at $220 retail?

It's my belief that thump is too stout for most people. The profile is very stiff and rigid and not wonderful in terms of feel. Tensei Pro White HYB plays stiff and tight, but actually has some feel and life to the shaft. This one is manageable and doesn't feel like you've bladed an iron when you hit it. I don't think cost is really a factor. People will pay for quality and performance if it works for them. In the grand scheme of things, who really cares about $100 difference in a club you're going to play for many years, when the performance is superior.

I hope so, hybrid is killing me at the moment, I even snagged a 5 wood, but hit it to far for the gap I'm looking for.

I'll have some TX in a couple weeks but stiff flex is a ways off.

I NEED this immediately. The 100g would be ideal in a driving iron. I wish they made a CK PRO version of the hybrids. A Dual Core TiNi hybrid would also be great! I don't need something that hits bullets. High launch, mid spin is great.

I'm waiting on my UDI deuce to put the 100 in. We have one in a 3 iron and it's an absolute rocket.

Besides feel, now does it compare to the RIP α hybrid (because the RIP feels like a board)? What about compared to a HZRDUS Black or VTS Black hyb if you've tried them?

I'd say the feel to hzrdus black is in the ballpark. Just a bit more tip stability off the deck and a shade more smoothness through the load. It feels a LOT like the old 904hb with a little more pop and less spin.

So, have you seen any of the blue version in the heavier weights?(90-100 gram)

I don't believe there is a pro version of the blue out there yet. I'm sure it will happen at some point.

Sounds great for a head in the 18-20* range. I don't think I would put this in a driving iron - those are already so low spin (Apex UT, by example) I prefer a mid-spin or steel shaft in those.

The 2 I want to use only off the tee on short tight courses. But what I love about this shaft is that hybrids are too high spin for me generally, but this shaft brings them back into play. I'm excited about it.

I use my UT primarily off the tee as well but it can also be used as a par-3 club or a second shot into par 5's. If they get too low spin they'll never hold a green. And you can flight them low enough to hit the runner if need be regardless of the shaft from what I've found.

When I want it to stop I just hit a high fade in. I use ctaper in my 3 and 4 right now. The test 3 iron I can still hit high with the pro white but it's easier to flight super low for me. I'll let everyone know how that deuce works out.

Any comparisons to the Matrix Hm3 105?? I have that in an XTD 2 hybrid and it's fantastic.
