Go north hit pasatiempo it's a must play! Skip Carmel valley ranch way too short

if you're playing more than one round and are looking for affordable you must play pacific grove. interesting enough for a 0. front is a little bland but the back is spectacular in the dunes right on the ocean.

Quail Lodge has some excellent greens. CVR is pretty but would pass on it.

If playing Pebble in the AM, you can get replay rates at Spanish and Spyglass that afternoon. Roughly 50% off the rack rate.

    Otherwise hit up Bayonet/Blackhorse

+1 for the BlackHorse and Bayonet, but beware, the course conditions have really gone down hill. I played there about a month ago and it's a shadow of what it used to be.

There is some big club pro tournament there this or next month, so maybe they are saving up the resources for that. But lately it just keeps going down hill. I remember when I first started playing there about 5 years ago, it was an awesome deal for $50, not so much anymore.

Poppy Hills. Way better than Bayonet/Blackhorse and can be found on GolfNow for $95-$125. Also closer to Carmel.

    I prefer Bayonet

Bayonet is clearly the better of the 2 in my opinion. Plus I made an ace on 17...not so passive brag.
