High quality iron headcovers

I know I know many of you say using covers on my irons doesn't make me a "real golfer" but I prefer to use them to reduce bag clatter and to keep my new forged irons looking good for years to come.

My question is, who makes high quality iron headcovers? I have a set from callaway that are decent quality and cloth, but it doesn't seem right to use them on my taylormade irons. I have also tried a leather looking set from ebay but in reality they look cheap and also hold moisture .

I am looking for something that won't hold moisture and condensation and are also high quality. I am open to all suggestions.

Club Glove Gloveskin. They will all hold moisture if they get soaked. Let them dry before putting the clubs away. Make sure you get the right size for your irons.

+1 on the Club Glove Gloveskin. I also like the Maxfli Deluxe Zippered covers (from Golf Galaxy) which fully protects the hosel and ferrule, plus they can't work their way up/off when zipped. I've used both with equal satisfaction.

I'll say +1 on ClubGlove but I prefer the regular neoprene to the GloveSkin line. As others have mentioned, get the right size... regular size will most likely fit anything other than the largest shovels, where the OS size can be a bit big and more prone to falling off unless you absolutely need them for really big SGI irons.

Thank you for the suggestions so far I will look into the clubglove covers.

To clarify the irons I'll be covering are a p770/p790 combo set so something on the normal to small side should fit these.

I've used the same set of Castle Bay for over 10 years, still soft and pliable, hold up to TX sun great.

I've used these for over 10 yrs. Face Saver Plus. They click on the hosel so they don't fall off. My oldest set are the same as the day I bought them. A newer set the numbers have worn off a little. I also found a clear set so you can see the irons in them and the numbers of the irons. I still use my first set on my gamers. I prefer the black ones so strangers don't know what I have in the bag.

IIRC, Face Savers were my first set, a little stiff especially when cold out. I like the Castle Bay as stay flexible and they 'lock' on due to design. They're made of a neoprene rubber mix or similar, based on feel of the material.

Based on this thread I bought a set of the Castle Bay covers. I haven't lost any for good yet, but they are a little big and loose on Mizuno MP18s, and tend to work themselves off. I have a set of zippered neoprene covers which are not durable -- plastic piping cracks, stitching comes loose. Castle Bay seems a good design, just needs to be more snug for a smallish iron head.

I have a set of the Club Glove Gloveskins in the Std. size and they were a bit loose on my AP2's so I took them to a shoe repair shop and had them close the opening just a bit to tighten them up.
