Just some quick thoughts on a couple of the newer things I've been trying out recently:

M1 440:

440 is an excellent head. Forgiveness is on par with last years M1 460, I was actually surprised with how forgiving it was. Sound and feel were improved as well, also looks great at address. Mine was measured 9.0 degree and pretty square face angle as most of them seem to be. I like to open it up a click or two and that just made it too low spinning for me. Had no problem with launch like I did with SLDR 430 and M1 430 (not quite to the same extent). I'd say it launches true to the stamped loft, so pretty much what you would expect it to. I will be looking into a higher lofted head at some point because this driver has pretty much everything going for it.

Also, found this club performs drastically better with the rear weight all the way back (or at least most of the way). Changes the feel of impact and I could discern a noticeable increase in forgiveness on slight mishits. With the weight forward anything not out of the dead middle felt like garbage. Just my opinion anyway. This is the best head they've made in a long time once dialed in properly. Just takes more effort to do so with the smaller, lower spinning heads.

ATMOS Black Tour Spec:

To me this shaft is basically the .2 TS that was so popular a few years back updated and made with a lot more feel. Performance is there, very low spinning and not totally anti left like a lot of low spinning shafts. It has a small but noticeable kick unlike a lot of the low/low shafts that fujikura makes. Some of the 105-110 guys could get away with the 6X where they might not have with the 6.2 TS which was very stout for a 60 gram. Was really impressed with this, but ended up being too low spinning in the 440.

Probably time to update this thing after about a year and a half.

I've come full circle back to the M1 440 head. Been through about 4 or 5 of these heads over the last couple years unsure of whether it's forgiving and spins enough. Still undecided on shafts and could use some recommendations from those who game this head or have extensively in the past. Thoughts are very much appreciated.

Still using some old TM fairways and wedges, just happens to be what works. Also first time owing a set of Srixon irons (945 3-PW) and already planning a backup set. Have Nippon Super Peening Blue X in the mail. Have never hit them so will be an interesting experience.

Only recently released club in the bag is the P790 UDI. Plays halfway between a blade 2 iron and a 17 degree hybrid that doesn't hook. It has worked out perfectly.
