Who is playing college golf next fall? Doesn’t matter division, NCAA or NAIA.

I’ll start, my daughter is heading to Indiana Institute of Technology. She’s excited to play and have golf pay for her degree.

That is so awesome to hear! I have a tween golfer and still a ways to go, but I know it goes by fast. That is amazing news and wish her all the best! Hopefully she'll have a great experience being a college athlete.

My kid's not a recipient, but I am seriously considering purchasing a college athletic scholarship for him. I heard there's a great sale going on over at USC.

Congratulations to you and your daughter; it is a rare accomplishment to be awarded a full ride for athletics of any kind, regardless of what you may hear about girl's golf scholarships (or crew for that matter).

My daughter is in her second year playing D1 golf on a 100% athletic scholarship. It's a demanding schedule trying to balance everything, but she loves it. She's also traveled internationally to Scotland with her team where she played the Old Course, Carnoustie, and some other great ones. I didnt even have to provide spending money. I literally get anxiety everytime I walk to the mailbox in fear that there's going to be a bill for it all in there...lol!

    Best of luck to her!

Just as long as Uncle Jessie doesn't go to the pokey. With that hair he'd be someone's you know what really quick.

What happened with Lori Loughlin? And if she is in the big house, I’ll volunteer as her congigal visitor.

Oh, and by the way, congrats OP, that is awesome for your daughter. I get a kick out of listening to the girls. I’m on the range quite often when the local team shows up, and they’re quite chatty amongst themselves, without a lot of volume control. You kind of just think of them as golfers and forget they are 18-22 year old girls.

    Congrats to your daughter OP.

Hopefully a slew of us will be talking about this again in about 5-6 years.
