Request swap forum

Can we please get a For SWAP ONLY sub-forum? It really is a pain to send out swap offers left and right with no avail and I feel like there is enough swapping happening to support a sub forum just for it. And yes I am aware you can call out "trades welcome" in a for sale ad, but I am referring to the items we all have in our garage that we would simply like to swap out for something more useful to us.

The bst was constructed to protect buyers and sellers. You can offer trades with pictures and prices. If you want product for product that is fine as long as the bst rules are followed for listing with pictures and prices.

LISTING RULES

No selling of items won through GolfWRX Offerings, Contests or Testings.

The BST is for personal use only. Items may not be listed for your business or for a friend. There will be absolutely no unauthorized commercial postings, bulk selling, or liquidations of inventory.

Listed items must be golf related. Clothing must be golf clothing, dress shirts/pants etc are not considered permissable for the BST. However, electronics that are commonly sold in golf stores - such as portable golf speakers, golf GPS and laser rangefinders and accesories commonly used to record your swing - are acceptable. Determination of what items are "golf related" is in the sole discretion GolfWRX Marshals and Management.

**All items must include a sale price, including items listed "For Trade".

All items must include in-hand photographs that clearly show the items being listed. Small or blurry images in your Listing may cause it to be removed without warning. No watermarked images from Ebay or similar type hosting services are allowed.**

 

The rules allow for trades with protection. List it for shipping cost or $1.

I fully understand that and thank you for the response. I guess what I’m getting at is that it would be nice to have a section you could go to knowing everything in it was looking for trades and not $. For example: I go into my garage, dig around, find an old 3 wood head. It’s value could get me $20 after shipping. What’s the point? But if there was a section for trading, I could go in and find something like new balls that someone is wanting to get rid of in trade. They want a 3 wood to mess with for a build and I want something I can put in to play like new balls. It’s a win win. I can’t do that currently...

What you stated happens all the time in PMs. Splitting the forums fractures the audience for the same results. People trade items partially or straight across now.

 

The requirements for price and pictures was to prevent fraud and misrepresentation of items which is already not 100% reliable. People currently put in their listings whether they want trades or not.

 

In your example, you take a picture of the balls and place an ad with a sell price with what you believe it to be or trade in kind.

 

Or the 3w with what you are looking for.

 

Or go the WTB forum and post looking...But do not state trade items but open to trade.
