Golfsmith professional loft/lie machine

denismcgdenismcg Members Posts: 178 ✭✭

I have a chance to purchase a club bending machine but it is missing a few parts. Does anyone know if and where parts for older golfsmith machines can be purchased. I will need the complete sliding mechanism with the gauges attached.

Thanks

Golf Mechanix made the machine. You might want to try emailing them about parts...http://www.golfmechanix.com/

It has taken me a while to get back to this post, but I finally picked up the unit. I sent an email to golfmechanix but haven't heard back yet. I have attached a few pics to see if anyone has any other suggestions for parts. I think I mainly need the protractor part for right handed clubs. I am pretty sure that I can fab the bars and intermediate block. Still happy since the whole assembly was only $80.

Don't bother. Just consider it a vice that is custom designed to hold a golf club. Buy yourself a loft/lie measuring gauge instead, even the lower priced models are perfectly adequate. Its a bit of a pain to have to bend by 'feel' and then measure and repeat but it works.

Thanks for the suggestion, it certainly makes sense. I am the type of person who enjoys bringing neglected items back to life and sometimes make them better. The only real challenge for this project is the protractor. Also, I am retired so this makes a fun, time wasting, project.

I have contacted Mondher. He responded very quickly and was very helpful. As TT2017 suggested, he recommended that I just buy a separate loft/lie guage. While I appreciate the suggestions, I decided to see if I could fab something up. I have made the sliding mechanisms and fabbed a prototype of the protractor but I need a really good straight on pic of the protractor with measurements of the outside edges. If anyone is able to help, please let me know.
