I cannot imagine where the center of percussion is on these designs.

The hosel is much too long - the c of g must therefore be closer to the hosel than the middle of the face.

JMO - the shapes are not attractive. But then neither are the Clevelands and Vokeys.

The original VR TW series design is still the best shape over the last few years.

None of my hard earned cash heading Scratch's way.

Honestly, youre missing out not try them... They are a great product... I bought a couple sets trying to dial in the right "grind", but will end up keeping all 4 wedges and rotate them depending on turf conditions... Great wedges, real great service.

Looks do mean a lot, but I can't tell you how pleased I am with mine, I have added 3 this year and will add a 4th to replace my PW when I get the cash.

We get it. You dont like Scratch.

You are extremely biased. After all, your wedge company is the "Most versatile wedge in golf..."

Your ignorance is laughable.

Keep thinking that you created an "innovative" design and it is the "most versatile" wedge.

Your bias is ridiculous and beyond annoying.

This thread just took a turn....

As an unbias consumer/goler. I tried Scratch for the very first time this Fall.

1) the customer communication is the BEST I have ever experienced (they even tried to talk me out of buying more wedges -told urged to try these for a while before ordering another "grind", etc.- didnit work - as I now own four new Scracth wedges)

2) their product is well built

3) their product performs well

4) their product is competively priced

5) they have a "personal" connection witht he consumer- not only will they fit you to the correct club, but they are extremly patient and helpful with questions you may have

I have spoken to 3 different employees/managers: All 3 have been top-nothch (email and phone)

For $125, anyone on the fence should give it try. These wedges are great. This company is great.

Previously, I had only played OTR wedges - Titleist, Taylormade, Callaway, etc - but decided to jump in on a new 60 and 53 degree wedge when I saw this opportunity. The process was very easy and smooth. All my communication was by e-mail with the CEO Ari Techner. What other company would give you that kind of access? I'll post pics when I get my new wedges. The process to order my custom wedges was TOP NOTCH!!

Attention: coffee-cup-

Perhaps you need to lighten up. You repeated one of my lines and I poked some fun at you.

Pssst....you might want to check the dictionary for the meaning of "ignorance".

Everyone has an opinion and everyone is biased - including you and me - and that's what this forum (comment, praise, constructive criticism, observation and even some humor) is all about.

My original post on this subject praises Nike which is not my brand.

When you design you own wedge, you may learn that long hosels do, unarguably, result in the c of g being closer to the heel than is desirable.

What's the name of the wedge that you manufacture?

Cheers....

So, on a lighter note.. This particular thread is about Scratch wedges. Not, who owns a wedge company...

Start a "Who pissed in my Soup?" thread.

Ok, so you own your own wedge company, and you purposely go into a competitors thread to bash them? Really? You certainly are building a lot of goodwill for your brand..... :black eye:

No more messing up this thread.

Like I said earlier Scratch, you guys left out one of the grinds from the pics.

EDIT: My thread has been deleted since it would provoke reaction from the member who is a non-sponsor.
