Balls come looking for me. I get, on average, one ball in the backyard every other day so I get plenty. I love the hacks who play ProV's and Penta TP5's. I only pick them up on the course when I come across them by chance and I am 100% sure that it isn't from the group on the adjacent fairway.

I use the ratio of balls lost to balls found as a way of keeping score when my game is really off. If I come out ahead, then all has not been lost.

I have been playing better the past few months so I haven't lost as many balls. I have been finding more than I lose but only when I ride. If I am walking, I don't head over to the likely places for lost balls out of laziness.

If I bother looking for them. Last year I bothered: I found a total of 465 balls, and of those 252 were ProVs.

These were balls that were worth keeping and doesn't include the one's I didn't want.

I usually find 2 to 4 balls a round and usually get 3 to 5 rounds out of a ball before I loose one. So the odds are that I find more than I loose. :beruo:

I don't go looking for balls but I do go looking for mine. When I am hitting it all over the place I usually find more than I lose. Everyone knows how it goes. You look in the woods or brush and you find a bunch of balls but you don't find yours. When I am playing good I don't find any balls because I'm not hitting them where all the bad shots end up. With that being said I usually find more than I lose. I lost one today but found three looking for it.

always find more than I lose, but most aren't balls I would play and I give them away to one of my playing partners.

I'm sure I could find more balls than I lose if I went looking, I just don't make any effort to look for balls other than mine. It's just my luck too that when I do stumble across one, it's usually some rock that I have no interest in.
