One of my favorite courses has a comment card that you can fill out post round for a $1 tapper at the bar. They solicit and get constructive feedback in real time, I get cheap beer. Win-Win!

4) Friendly Rangers

Huge one for me... Cruise into the parking lot 30 before my tee time and have to wait an hour. Sours me fast.

This one gets me and I appreciate when they actually do this right, put the cart strap around my putter and not super tight so it's going directly through the putter tube so ya know, I can actually get to it during the round.

but always appreciate starters that come get you from the parking lot with a cart if they can
- sending you out early when possible
- warning you about certain holes/9's and their toughness

1. Actually welcome me to the course when I walk in the proshop, or I don't know, appear somewhat happy that of all the courses to choose from I chose theirs.

2. Flat tee boxes.

3. Range balls included in the greens fee. ESPECIALLY if it's more than $75 or so per round.

4. An active marshall who isn't afraid to tell people to hurry their arses up.

5. Course layout on the scorecard or on the tee boxes. I played a course in Florida where I hit 3 drives in a row into a creek that was 270 yards from the tees but completely invisibible from the tees. They didn't have a course map on the scorecard or a hole layout at the tee, pretty cool.

Ahhhhhhhh, that one just got me yesterday. Had to go about 2 hours away for work, finished early and played a course I've been wanting to check out. There were no less than 5 blind tee and second shots with hazards in the blind area. Took 4 penalty strokes for what I thought were good shots! The course maps definitely did NOT present an accurate representation.

Also, let's combine two important ones and make really hot cart girls that are also active marshals that speed up play. Maybe more guys would speed up!

While this is a great idea, sadly I think that would have the exact opposite effect!
