PGA village or Orlando area for buddy trip

New to the forum. Just wanted opinions about which area would be better for a buddy trip. Lots of courses in Orlando area plus Streamsong is within 1 1/2 hours. Heard PGA village is good and is very convenient in the fact all courses are right there. What would you recommend? Also which would have a better nightlife? Thanks ahead of time.

I'm partial since I live here, but to me Its Orlando. Tons of good golf courses and nightlife is great here. You Will need a car though or use uber a ton so you won't have that convience of having everything right there.

Orlando.

The nightlife in Orlando isn't great, but it's not terrible either.

Much more choices for golf in Orlando and you can go for cheaper.

PGA Village does have the beach which isn't too far away.

But, I'd rather hit up Southern Dunes, Waldorf and a round at Streamsong (or Eaglebrooke in Lakeland).

Thank for the reply. We have it narrowed down to Orlando or The Prairie Club in Nebraska. (I know some are laughing but it's like the "field of dreams for golf") BTW I hear a lot about Grand Cypress...How good is it.

Grand Cypress has 54 holes of golf. They have the 'new' course which is a links design that was designed after The Old Course at St. Andrews. I generally enjoy the New Course, but it's all dependent upon the wind for difficulty. If it's not windy out, it's an easy track.

Then thee 9's called the North, South and East courses. For the most part I don't mind those designs, but their design of the greens is pretty rough. Greens are too fast for that undulation. However, the course is almost always in tip-top shape and I've heard good things about the rental complexes.
