MG Golf Balls

I think they feel a little firmer than the Zstar. Maybe like the Bridgstone B330RX from a few years ago. But honestly I haven't played anything but a Zstar, ProV1x, or MG for the last 3 years. It has been at least 3 season.

Well I know on my golf trip that I leave for on Saturday the main ball I'm going to be using the Callaway Diablo Tour but may bring a few of these with me.....not sure yet.

Ok, I have used this MG SENIOR ball a few rounds now. I have had some monster drives, biggest for me ever. Of course the 10 mph breeze was behind me but yesterday. I hit a few a good 270 yd range and straight. Some say why use them if I can hit a long ball as they say at my age of 65 in the 230 yd range. Because I never hit them that long before, and like most golfers, we want more. So if I get a good feeling in doing that. I will. I could care less what others think. I care that I am enjoying it while I am able. So be it.

We've all got to follow our joy where ever we find it.

or in his case, post only about MG golf balls, in this and other forums. (secret advertising is secret)

I tease, but rich and those guys really do have some great products. The dynagrip elite is the best value in golf I have ever used. I have a cabinet full of them. If the c4 was in yellow without me having to dye them I would probably still be using them. I just got tired of dying them.

I am excited to hear more about the Senior MG ball miker1951. How do these ball feel? I played a Oncore Caliber ball with a metal core and it had a weird hard feel to them. Anything like that or more like a softer ball? Does the ball have any check around the greens or is it like hitting a ball on an ice rink? Forget the, it's non-conforming and whether that's cool or not, let's hear about the ball!!

I have not played enough greens to make that determination. The greens I played were too firm, I played both the ProV1 & MG and both reacted the same. The ProV1 may be a touch softer but not significant. Once I play greens that are a bit softer I will know. At this point I love the MG Senior. I have 3 dz to use and will order more.

Excellent! I am a senior player too. You are probably getting the feeling I had, when I played my favorite courses and moved to the senior tees. After battling the longer yardages for 20 years, it was nice to be sitting in playable positions after a tee shot, Thanks, for the info on the green side control. Would you compare the feel/softness to a Duo or Supersoft, a mid feeling ball like a Noodle or firmer ball like the Bridgestone B330? As much as this sounds appealing, if the ball feels like a rock, it might not be a good choice for me. Thx Tanner

This ball is not a rock. Maybe close to a Noodle. Not familiar with the Duo or Supersoft. I have only used it in three rounds, scoring about the same but my putting wasn't up to par as I'm breaking in a new putter. Good luck. Give this ball a try. Mike

Thanks, Mike. I am waiting for the yellow version to get re-stocked!
