WRX T-Shirts?

Not hating on any one slogan, but I seriously doubt you will get everyone who wants a shirt to agree on 1 slogan. If the slogan was narrowed down to one (or 2) that someone does not like, they will not buy the shirt.

 

Maybe we can do the plain shirt with a good WRX logo and then have a long running challenge for WRX members to show off what custom slogans they have gotten printed on the shirt themselves???

The aforementioned Tiger Woods quote is great...Hockey players are white men, basketball players are black men, golfers are white men dressed like black pimps.

 

I would be forced to buy a shirt if that was on the back regardless of what was on the front.

Well, for the slogans, so far the only one that people can agree on is "If you can read this you just got outdrove by a WRXer"

 

So i say here are the choices

 

T-Shirts with logos

 

or

 

T-Shirt with logos and the slogan "If you can read this, you just got outdrove by a WRXer"

 

(Altho, i do like the white men dressed like black pimps slogan, thats priceless!)

 

Is that fine? If so, lets take a vote. Which one do YOU want?

I'd vote for a large GOLFWRX.com logo in the front. A smaller one right below the collar in the back, and then a slogan under it. I also like the idea of WRX on the sleeve.

I've helped to design a few shirts for work. Personally, I'd love a huge GOLFWRX logo on the back with a small saying under it. I'd also like a log on the front left chest. It would definitely help to get the word out at golf tournaments that I'd be taking pics at. ;)

How about a large GolfWRX logo on the back with "Got GolfWRX?" underneath? Simple but still a slogan, hopefully the best of both worlds. Just my .02.

Well, we are getting lots of diverse answers here.

 

So im gunna try to lay down the line...someone has to step it up. the only thing i want to leave for debate is a large logo (such as what soberguy has posted thanks to him) or just a generic small logo.

 

So here is the shirt

 

 

Big/Small logo on front

Golf WRX Logo on back (it can be like idrive400yards avatar, or some other logo)

Under that in smaller print says "If you can read this, you just got outdrove by a WRXer"

(Optional..the wrx on the sleeve thing depending on if ur a left or righty, i dont care if we had that or not)

 

Im sorry if i seem uptight guys, but if someone dont lay down the line...we will never agree on anything.

 

So if someone could try to design a shirt like what soberguy did and post it so we can see that would be very very helpful, but try to follow the guidlines like i stated please.

 

Again, sorry if i seem pushy, just want to get this stuff running!

i was gonna try to put the slogan u guys wanted on the sleeve of a longsleeve shirt, but it wouldnt let me on that site, but thats just the first site that came up when i googled it...there were other ideas i had with different styles of writing and size of wrx slogan, like a small one on the front left, but i just thought the "you just got outdriven by a wrxer" slogan was a little too short for the back of the teeshirt to make it look cool. i dunno...i think people should fool around with that site or others that might let you put logos on sleeves and stuff and submit them for people to get a better idea...im up for whatever and just put up that slogan as an example

Here's my first try it tell me what you think? All fonts can be changed really easy and they have many to choose from, again just an idea thought it looked pretty cool.

I took the logo from the headcover thread and put it on the front of the shirt. On the back, I thought it would be kind of cool to put a "GOLFWRX.COM" with a bar code. Nine Inch Nails did a shirt kind of like that a while ago, I thought it looked cool, maybe not so much for other people. For the quote, I put one on that my grandfather sent me a few weeks back, feel free to interchange it with something else. Is there a way to get a shirt in black? I missed how to do that, it's 3am and I must be lonely (wait no Matchbox Twenty), It's 3am and I'm exhausted.

Alright, one more post tonight. I live close to Cassels, a place that does a ton of team jerseys and such. The first link was to the types of clothes they offer. This is to their homepage. Another idea, depending on t-shirts, or collared shirts is the type of fabric or even looking at a sublimated shirt.

I absolutely love the idea of a Golfwrx T-shirt. I welcome any chance to represent this the site as poorly off as I do on the course. ;) While I do like the idea of the lefty sleave, I think it might be overkill. Might not be quite enough demand to justify the special order (and logistics on ordering and delivery would get to be an avoidable PITA).

 

I'm largely against the whole slogan idea though. Golfwrx is a different thing to most members, so it would be hard to come up with a slogan that any majority could agree on (say more than 50% with 4+ choices). Shoot, we're having a hard enough time deciding between whether to have a slogan or not. That said, this would just be a gym-type of shirt for me, so I'm down for whatever (usually sporting a polo in the summer, sweatshirt in the winter).

I like this idea, but have a couple suggestions.

Back

1) Rather than the quote castanza put on, in my opinion it should have the "out driven" slogan.

2) As far as the bar code idea goes, it's a good idea, but a) doesn't suite the rest of the shirt and b) is hard to read. I think it should have the miniaturized version of the golfwrx.com that is on the front.

Front

3) The front of the shirt should just say "golfwrx", not "golfwrx.com"

Although the barcode idea was cool, it just doesnt fit the theme (sorry, i liked it tho)

 

I Really want to get these started, and we are really getting nowhere. so again, im going to try to lay down the line. for those of you who do not like this, maybe we can make a second batch of shirts with another design. but i say that this will be our first product.

 

Front: Costanza's idea, except i do like "Golf WRX" better than "GolfWRX.Com"

Back: Golf WRX Logo with the the big "G" and the "outdriven by a WRXer quote" (I just really like the quote i guess)

 

If its ok with you guys, can we get a couple of these ordered, then if a group of you want a differnt design, make another order, so we can purchase in groups. idk its just a possility, but im just trying to have some authority in this.

 

So can Someone maybe design that and try to see if we can get an order in? that would be great!!

Just wanted to apoligise again if i come off as bossy. Im in my high school student leadership class, and ive learned that if everyone puts there 2 cents in, nothing gets done, and someone has to step up and lay down the line. so it was just a habbit, sorry if i appeared rude.

 

I know that we have a diverse range of ages here at WRX. and maybe your age effects what design you want. So if the batches idea will work, i think that will be great, except for a cost idea, i dont know how that would be.

 

But i guess ill just "step down" and let the pros take it from here.
