You won't get a new one for under $350, but I've sold a bunch in Australia via eBay which unfortunately didn't crack the $200 mark.

The cheapest by far is the Futura. Admittedly it is an acquired taste, but the Futura Phantom models aren't that much more and are much more traditional. You could pick up a good one for under $150 AUD.

In fact, you can often get used Camerons for less than they sell for on eBay US because the market is smaller. I've seen many Newports go for under $200, and even a Del Mar 3.5 that went for $185 AUD which I still kick myself for not buying.

The big difference between the Aus and US market is that in the States condition really doesn't matter because people can just send the putter to the Custom Shop. The restoration cost is the same whether the putter is almost mint or a complete mess.

In Australia, it is not economically feasible to send putters to be restored because of Cameron's exorbitant shipping charges, ie they charge more to ship the putter back than they do to restore it (there are ways to get around this which I can expand on if you wish, but it they are a tad complex).

The result is that putters in average condition sell here for cheaper than the US, and putters in mint condition sell for more.

Check these recent prices:

Of course, you can always do what I do and buy from the States and ship out. A single putter will cost about $30US to ship via USPS.

Finally, some shops have them used. I'm not sure where you are, but Power Golf in Sydney has a couple of Studio Designs for $199.

As for which model, that is up to you. IMHO the Futura Phantom 2 mallet is a real bargain if you are into mallets. Half the price of a Red X2, same alignment system, more forgiving and a better colour.

As for the more traditional models, Newport TeI3's seem to for quite cheap in Oz, but IMHO the best value and best-looking Cameron is the original Laguna Gun Blue or the Laguna 2.5 Pro Platinum.

Of course, even better value are the occasional Bettinardis that turn up, but that's a different story.
