I recommend Jay and his products. He responds to emails almost immediately and treats you like a friend, rather than a client. I have one alligator belt from him. I'm thinking about snagging the ghost green gator belts that he grammed about a few weeks ago. I'm saving up for a yardage book, too. .

I wear the same grey elephant belt from them 95% of the time and after 2+ years it is still in great shape. It's faded a bit but Id say I've put it on/taken it off thousands of times so it's held up incredibly well.

Hate to hear that. I have dealt with Jay for 5-6 years and never had any issues what so ever. I have a huge collections so I am not wearing the same belt every day.

I really enjoyed working with Jay. Very precise and nice turn around. Plus he can make about anything you think up. I think he has four of my belts on his website. I have 9 of his belts and only two faded probably after 12 wears. He said it was the color combo with the skin chosen. I believe him but not going to pay that kind of money anymore. I’ve switched to the peter Millar course belts. I love those. 85 bucks and I’m not buying another golf shirt when I go someplace special. Racking up a nice collection at this point

I've had some of his belts fade. Really liked them early on but multiple belts didn't hold up after a year or so. I sent him the pictures and got a so-so reply back. But for the price these should hold up better. I haven't dealt with that company in at least 2 years now. Sorry to have a negative report, but it's the truth.

 

I had a blue lizard belt that faded a lot over the years, you can see the difference from looking at the back of the belt where it folded over the buckle. Be wary of buying the bright colors therefore.

First purchase....got 3! Lizard belts were on sale for $99 plus I got a bison belt. Just arrived and haven’t tried them yet.

Agreed. Pretty basic . I like the snake and wild colors but the wouldn’t get worn much. I do have a blue genuine gator but different brand from eBay. Nice belt too.

That gator looks nice also! I’ve had my eyes on a python but am worried about durability.

I love that!! I think they look better the older they get! How many cards do you fit in each side?

I put in 6 or 7 cards in each side. One has my DL and other stuff including coffee cards. The other has the credit cards I travel with. Cash is in the middle. Jay is a great guy!

Question, the "select edge" option when looking at these online, is that just the edges of the belt between the skin top and leather back?

Obvious is obvious, but was just wondering because it wasnt really shown how much material that is and dont want to totally offest the belt with some random color. Just curious?
