I really believe that for headcover and accessories, Odyssey Japan crushes what we have in North America.
I mean, the limited edition and Major tourney headcovers are cool, but the stuff on the shelves here is nothing compared to the cool stuff overseas.

This is pure speculation though, as it looked like they were on the site then taken back off, so there might be a chance to order again. Honestly i think i just want the coin. Headcover funds have dwindled.

If my understanding is correct, that particular page on the website went live early so not everything was available all at once but I am just passing alot information that was posted by another user on another forum. He is a member here so i am sure he will post soon if he chooses.

Everyone states that these should come to retail and that they would buy one if available. Well either pay the money you said you would be willing to spend or dont but stop complaining every time it doesn't go your way. The cost is what it is. More often than not you are very critical of the members here that take to twitter to use another outlet provided to all to communicate to OEMs. Most, if not all OEMS are on twitter, instagram, etc.. and many have staffed position that deal directly with social media platforms. Why is it you specifically feel the need to label these people as fanboys or groupies of Callaway. Yes they are vocal in their happiness towards Callaway/Odyssey but so you are in your negative towards them so what makes them any different than you? Both are vocal in their opinion. I consider myself a Callaway supporter but I have my reasons for doing so. Its not because I went on a trip or got to review some clubs from them. You are entitled to your opinion just as I am to mine but for once, when you don't like a callaway/odyssey product or price, be negative towards it because you personally are affect by it, not because you didn't get the notice early enough and other people did because they took the effort to do so.

I know it's not as rare or anything as some of the others in this thread, but does nyone have one of these Vegas Girl headcovers (grip would be cool too, but headcover is what I'm looking for most) they'd be willing to part with? I've been trying to find them and just have no luck anywhere.

Yes many of us have asked that these things come to retail. But that's just it, they still have not. Releasing 10 headcovers at $100 a pop is not bringing them to retail. I don't understand the business of teasing foks with a product and never making it widely available. It makes no sense. That just frustrates thousands of folks and helps a few. Too much of that and people sour on the brand. But hey, it's their company, they can do whatever they want.

And me making a complaint about something is being a hater? Did you read the start of this thread or any other post of mine? I am far from a Callaway/Odyssey hater. A quick look around my office here confirms that fact. But I'm not one who is gonna fall over their every word and move in hopes that someone will send me free stuff. I don't play that game. If they want an honest review of something, I can do that. But the sucking up is not for me. I know it works for some here though and if they can live with it, more power to them. I do know not all employees at Callaway and Odyssey are down with that. Most but not all.

Yep I asked a simple question and you saw it as bashing. That says it all right there. Of course many of us see your posts as over the top sucking up. Each to his own I guess. I did think it was rather odd that a certain group of over enthusiastic followers were able to access the page to buy stuff way ahead of time for it to go live. Coincidence? Maybe, but it sure looked suspicious. But I guess that's the perks of being "new best golfing buddies" with an employee. Just my opinion. It's worth what you paid for it.

Here is one of the many reasons why Odyssey is my putter of choice. I guess there 5 blade and 5 mallet covers in the innovate or die release. I placed my order. No conformation email came through to my email so I was guessing I didn't get it or there was a screw up online. I was ok with it I guess. What can you do right? I wanted one bad.


Well fast forward 3 hours and I get an email from Greg Sebella from Callaway saying there were 5 people whose order went through in the same 60 seconds and only one of us got it (it wasn't me). He was reaching out to the 4 of us who didn't get it to ask for our address to send us something. That is really really cool if you ask me. They saw that, reached out to us all who it happened to and are going to send us something. Regardless if it's the head cover (I don't think it will be) or whatever they send, this is above and beyond any expectation I had. Truly top notch there to go that above and beyond.

Well done Callaway. Well done.
