Yes. The VR is 15. I had the demo Flex set at 15, but someone hit it before I got to start the test. They changed it to 14. I didn't notice the change until after I was finished (had to jump in quick between customers). When I get it to the course, I'll adjust it back to 15 to compare.

I'd like to see you compare the flex 5 wood set to like 17* and see what happens.

1) The Flex hybrid is a keeper. Really solid on the course.

2) The Flex 3 wood demo that I took out is a no go. Needs a different shaft from the stock S+ or something.

After three well served years, I've decided it is time to retire my beloved Lunar Ascend shoes. We've been through thick and thin together. They are stained. They are ripped. The comfort is gone. The tread on the bottom is almost gone. Yet we've maintained our relationship.

But I have found a replacement.

G, I can't 100% say it's the shaft. I'm used to the overall weight of my VR ltd which is pretty heavy. The Flex feels much lighter. I don't know if it's head weight or the shaft making it feel so light. I'd love to try it with the D+ 70 shaft or even the S+ 80 to see if it made a difference. And it might just be me. Given enough time, I might adjust. I might swingweight them tomorrow to see if there is a big difference.

*I think I'll take my old 80 gram PX Tour issue shaft out of my CT1.0 and hit it tomorrow in the Flex in my sim to see if that makes it feel any better*

I have the S+ 80 in the Flex hybrid and it feels great. It's set at 19 N and has basically taken the place of my 5 wood.

i tried my speeder 8.2 TS in a flex 3 wood head... coming from a 2.0... ordered it that night to match my pro driver....

waiting for the 3 wood to arrive but i have alway liked heavier shafts... 130X C taper in my irons...

let the shop order what ever no upgrade shaft they thought they would sell my 2.0 best with... ordered a 70S blueboard...

Did you try the Flex with the stock shaft before trying your Speeder? If so, how much different did it feel?

I have this thought that the Flex could be great if I could get the feel/weight right.

the flex 3w shaft was no bueno for me too. however, it does very very well with a whiteboard.

No as the driver X blue sucked and they only had a S for the three wood...

The 8.2 is tipped 1.5 inches so I am very used to a stiff shaft in the three wood...

I keep thinking that if I order one I would get it with the new 70 D+ shaft and give it a go.

I tried it with my PX Tour Issue 80 gram yesterday and while it felt better in my hand, the results weren't all that impressive.

I've been lucky enough to get out and play some lately. Just a few thoughts on the setup.
1) The Vapor Pro has been a little inconsistent lately. Out of one of the levels of Dante's Inferno, a hook has come back into my driver swing. It has not been warmly welcomed. I've been fighting it for a few rounds. Yesterday I decided to move the driver to the Right setting from the Neutral. Ball flight was much straighter. I'm going to go a few rounds like this and see what happens.

2) Irons are SOLID. The shaft change from the DG Pro S300 to the DGS300 has made a ton of difference in the feel and overall control of the irons. I really think these are the best irons I've ever had. I've played more forgiving (VRS Forged, i15s, i5s), but all around these are unbelievable. I can only imagine how they would have felt with the NS Pro Prototypes that are in my VRS forged.

3) The Vapor Flex hybrid is ok. I haven't hit it enough to give a full review. I like the shape better than the CT 1.0 which is a plus. I have it set on 19 N for the time being. I'm trying it as a bridge between my 3 wood and my 4 iron.

4) My wedges are still working well. I have Engage wedges on order and should be arriving soon. I like the overall look of the new Engage, but it seems like a useless move for me right now. My Oven wedges have worked well since day one, and my they are still good in the grooves due to my limited playing time since the trip.

5) I needed a different look, so the M11w Proto is back in the bag.

6) A new 3 wood is on the way. Pics will be posted when it arrives.

I've hit the Speed hybrid in my simulator. It's a beast for sure. I still want to hit it outside sometime.

XR Pro 16 with the PX 6.0.

Nothing yet. My order list still shows 4/5, but I was told by Nike they had been backed up to 5/1. Some people are saying 4/15-17 is the date. So I have no idea. If they get here in April I'm good for a few rounds. If May, it will be awhile. My son is having surgery on 5/1 so my golf will be spotty after that for awhile.

Got the new fwy in Friday. Just got out for a few holes with it in the bag. XR Pro 16 with the stock PX 6.0 shaft. Results were positive. A hit a few really solid tee shots with it rolled into the 250 range. I dropped a couple on one of the par 5s at the 240 marker. The first was a big hook that was just short of green high and the second bounced into the fringe. I'm cool with that as long as I can keep it in play. Any longer and I'm laying up unless there is a runway leading up to the green. I didn't have that much time or I would have dropped a few at the same spot and hit the VR Ltd for comparisons.

I haven't hit the Fly Z + fwy yet, just the std version. We've been slammed at work, so I haven't had a chance to get in there and do the fwy testing I had planned on. Maybe soon.

I think the XR has potential. A few swings produced some big tee shots for me with a fwy. But my swing has been very inconsistent the past few rounds. Driver is back...irons are pretty solid...but 3 wood has been a joke for some reason.

Hybrid is kind of up for grabs right now. I've got the Flex set at 20 for the time being. It's good, but I found an old goodie on the used rack the other day and have it on demo right now. Hit balls with it yesterday and I like the size and shape a lot. Makes the Flex look huge. I'll post some pics later.

After a few rounds and some range time, I don't think the XR pro 16 fwy is going to work. It doesn't feel as lively off the face as the old X Hot 17 4 wood that I had or my VR Ltd. I think the PX Hand Crafted 6.0 shaft is too stiff for me. Off the tee it's ok, but I can't elevate it off the deck at all. I can roll it up on a perfect lie, and it still goes head high. At first I though it was just my swing, but I've hit it enough to know that it's not all me.

As of now, the VR Ltd 3 wood is back in the bag. I think I need to quit tinkering with the fwy wood and stick with what has proven to work over the long haul.

Hybrid is still an ongoing question. The Vapor Flex hybrid is fairly solid, but something about it just isn't pleasing. I think it's a bigger profile than I'm used to hitting in a hybrid and it is throwing me off visually. I'm also not a fan of the Diamana Blue S+ they are using as a stock option in the fwy and hybrid. Maybe changing that would make a difference but I'm not sure I won't to take that approach with so many other options out there.
