Well philip frances wears it because they give it to him, but I've seen some juniors that wear it even though they have to pay, myself included.

 

 

I like it, though I'll never wear all JL at once, just seems over the top unless you're getting paid.

I wear the belts, and have a few shirts, but nothing over the top. I just like it because the way it fits, a lot of the american companys are catering to the 'larger' croud...the sleeves are huge, and the general fit is way too big. JL definitely has some really good stuff and it fits a lot better for the more athletic build.

i completely agree, it makes you look really stupid and arrogant unless JL is paying you to wear their clothing or they give it to you, OR if you get it as a gift. But if you wear it then you better have the game to back up the clothing. Nothing looks more stupid than some kid at a tourney decked out in JL and then snap hooking his tee shot.

I think its a matter of fashion or your personal likes. Why do you drive the car you drive, why did you marry or date a certain person! I shoot in the low 90s, but happen to like bright colors, guess its my personality!

I personally don't own any J.L. I should get a shirt or two and 1 or 2 belts for the season. I love the look of it.

I think what he is trying to say is that to wear JL you have to be better average to good. If I saw a guy go out decked out in JL with the best clubs and hit it 10 yards it would not look good. They would look like a poser.

I agree completely. I am a little shorter and thin so the slim European fit works well for me and I like the colors What you wear has nothing to do with how good you are and I think I'm pretty decent (+2.7 handicap)

I´am a big fan of jl. Love the colors and cuts and all the clothes are so stylish. I have like 10-15 golfshirts, 7 pairs of pants, hats and visors, 4 belts etc. I also wear the casual shirts and pants from jl, but i think that the future sports- line is the the most stylish golfline :blink:

I personally am not a fan of the JL clothing; IMHO they look to loud for my liking. I personally prefer the retro theme of the original penguin shirts that are basic but yet stylish :blink: !!!

I wear the belts sometimes. I like the thicker belts, but they run a bit big as opposed to their shirts, which run small.

Great pics - I love their gear, but in NZ no-one sells it. And getting it from E-bay is too much as we have to add high shipping charges.

 

So I wear Cross gear (Miko Ilonen was wearing Cross when he won on the European Tour this year). Very similar in cut to JL, just not quite as flamboyant.

i totally agree...jl is one of the best clothing lines out there and if you are good enough to be getting it for free or you can afford to buy it you should because theres nothing worse than stepping up to the first tee and having to look at a guy you think is going to totally dominate you all day. just my opinion tho

That's absolutely one of the most ludacris coments I've ever read. Unless you are posting from a computer located in some cybercafe, to which you traveled 150 miles in the back of a pick-up truck from the refugee camp where you are a volunteer, you're totally out of touch with reality. Sure, there is poverty around the world, that's one of the most fundamental plights of man, but to get on a golf blog and b**** about the expensive clothes someone is wearing and draw a parellell form that to world hunger is ridiculous. But I'm sure you don't own anything that isn't absolutely vital to your survival know do you? If you live in a glass house, well, you know the rest of the saying.

 

P.S. - If I had the time or inclination, I'd school you on Economics 101 and why much of the world's poverty is a result of the governments in those regions (i.e. hyperinflation, poor managment of natural resources, etc.), but I have a feeling I'd be wasting my time.
