These shafts look awesome in person. The black definitely looks different from what has been offered before. I will definitely be looking to install these in my wedges upon release.

Got mine today and just finished installing them, the finish looks much more durable and better than the old S400 black that were offered by Cleveland and available on the aftermarket.

The shafts do weigh a little more than the normal DG the X100's were between 132-134 and the S400 were 132.5-134.5 of the bunch I measured.

They look awesome in my Vokey black ion wedges.

I received my initial stock last Friday so I would think any PFC dealer who pre-ordered should have them in the next day or so. The finish does look nice, it is very similar in appearance to the KBS Tour Custom Black Pearl which has proven to be pretty durable so hopefully these are as well. MAP pricing is set at $50 as already mentioned.

I'm all setup to get three Onyx shafts next week. Will post picks when I get them installed.

I had three installed in my wedges. Have two RTX wedges and a Saqra wedge, all with black pearl finish. Put on black iomic stickys. I must say they looked great. I had to switch back to DG because they are just too heavy for me. Now I am probably going to sell the Onyx shafts if anyone is interested. I wish they worked for me because they look great. Maybe they will come out with lighter ones.

So far zero issued with worn finish, etc. I have one spot on the 58 where it's scratched... My boneheaded move: after getting out of the bunker, I hit the bottom of my shoes to get the sand free...

Did you put them straight in without any brass weights? What did they swingweight at? I'm going to do mine today and want to ensure SW stays the same at standard length.

Just make sure your grip/tape/ferrule/epoxy weight are the same

I was asking specific to him as he has the same wedges. Standard in the MD2s are S300s so there is a 2 gram difference in shaft weights. Shouldn't make a difference if I use the weights (if any) in the s300s.
