Best Grips for Non-Glove wearing Golfers

Hey Patrick!
The gridirons are not tacky and more of a chord substitute. I always push Microaperfs on guys new to leather or returning. Installation isn't difficult, it's just different. I blow my grips on. You just have to remember that our underlast isn't rubber and requires a little more lubricant

What is added to the leather to make it sticky? Just wanting to know what is going to be on my hands. I had a set of GM stitch backs and really liked them but it definitely seems there is an additive that make them sticky.

It's all food-grade materials. Nothing harmful or allergenic.

I just wanted to follow up with my grip experiment results. All the grips held up pretty well to a regular schedule of 36 holes and 3 range buckets per week. The only negative thing I will say is that NO1 grips do not like being re-used. Other than that, I will focus on the positive and provide my honest opinion. Yes, I tried leather as well.
NO1 grips are the best, if:[list=1]

[*]Once installed, you don’t touch it until time to change.

[*]You like using just masking tape and no glue.

Thanks for the very helpful review, TG. What differences did you find with vibration dampening and feedback with the No1, Sticky 2.3 vs DTX?

Good review, thank you. I was interested in trying the Iomic Sticky, until I discovered that the asking price is $12 USD per grip! I'm a bit of a cheapskate when it comes to certain golf components, grips is one of them. I think I'll stick with the Karma Velvet from Hireko for $1 USD per grip.

I put a gripmaster stitchback on my driving iron and its by far the best feeling grip i have ever used. No glove needed and the feel is amazing.

I have to agree with the others that have recommended leather grips. I picked up some Microperfs from BestGrips about a month ago and they're outstanding. They're tackier than any other grip I've ever tried and it's really not even close.

Revival going on here. I'm seeking comparisons of the Pure DTX and Lamkin I-line. OP seemed to have these fairly close in all areas. Came across the i-line over weekend and was very surprised to like it but am used to using at least a semi-corded grip. Can't see these bring close on texture compared to cord. Lemme know your experiences/thoughts.
