Funny thing is they normally play blues on mens nights as a lot of those guys are bombers. But we even played white tees last night on amateur/regular and not Pro setting like we normally do. It "should" have been easier in theory lol

Well I managed to stay in single digits(sim golf average score over last 5 rounds), albeit not by much at 9.8 lol

Now is the time to turn those scores around and become an epic sim golfer! One of these days I would love to try a simulator round here but they just charge too much. It is literally a TON cheaper to just go out and play on a "deal of the day" price somewhere within 75 miles... INCLUDING the cost of gas!

Nothing beats playing outdoors. But when you are snowed in, sim. golf is better than no golf!

^^ +1 To That G64, I'd rather be outdoors any day if possible. But the sim does offer a nice winter option for those who can't get outside

Ok, after some thought about your 92 in sim. golf playing Titleist CBs, I think it is fair you need to hand in your Golf WRX decoder ring. Playing 'player's' irons shooting that score does not do the clubs justice. Either that, or you need to get some GI irons and then you can keep you decoder ring.

Very true! It's still be too cold to venture down to Cape Cod for a winter round. I'm sure some guys on the Cape haven't missed a beat, but that's still an hour + drive for me, so I have to draw the line somewhere.

I felt so uncomfortable over the ball that night I wasn't even sure if I was standing on the Right side of the ball, let alone the right tees

I wonder who has the better builder/fitter, Rona, Home Hardware or Home Depot?? But the biggest question is Spade, Square or mini driving shovel?? It's an age old question that has yet to be answered.

How did I get roped into this??

12/10/14 I shot 88 and just about lost what little hair I still have. Given this followed a 75 on a MUCH tougher course I was ready to take a sabbatical. I've played a new "menace" course my last 3 rounds and have gone 84-83-84 out there. Each time I lost 3 balls on the way to that score and I STILL have no idea where to hit the ball to "properly" play a couple of holes. Yardage books says play to the right over the trap at 230 out to stay out of the trap at 270 out on the left (fairway snakes between them). Hit it to the right side 2 times and each hit the fairway and bounced right instead of left... and into the "habitat" area. The 3rd time I gave it a "F-it" and went after the left bunker ... and flew the darn thing in a tailwind leaving me on a hill (next to the fireplug that has no use for what I can see) 35 yards from the pin on the 335 yard hole. However, the pin was back left corner with 3 paces in front and back to hit into, so I went middle of the green. CHICKEN!!! (well, smart... but chicken)

At least I didn't lose that ball.
