Brought my wedges into golf central at lunch to get Pat to check the lofts and lies because something has been feeling off lately. Sure enough they were a bit, gap wedge was at 50*/65* and should be 52*/63*. Sand wedge was 55*/65* and should be 56*/63* and my lobs wedge with it hadn't had shocked since I got it was 57*/65* and was bent to 60*/63*. He didn't even charge me for it, he must have been bored because I said I'd come back later for them and he's said "nope that's OK, I'll do it right now" lol. Glad to have it done and out of my mind now

I am alive! Had minimal time and terrible weather so no golf.....that being said I'm hoping to get in some driving range time next week and get back into it

The cars are definitely coming first. Two very expensive and time consuming hobbies don't mix well

I'm getting close to caving, a nice set of Ping S57 heads have come up as well as some X100 shafts and they both have my name on them!

...damnit, tomorrow I'm stopping by work to schedule an iron fitting before a shift next week. After a LOT of additional swing changes, I'm feeling something in a lighter PX, flighted, perhaps (wringing hands, drooling).

If you go back a page and/or open up the Wager Wrap-up thread you'll see that it was a wash. Pigs and I are back to purchasing product and G64 is now working at an establishment that supplies product. All's as it should be.

PS - when I saw the pictures of your 'Turbo' I was reminded of the cartoon Turbo, which featured a fast moving racing snail.

I've just been to look at that thread I definitely resisted the longest having only just bought a couple of new (to me) clubs this afternoon)

However I think that I may have cheated the system somehow by spending money on car parts instead of golf clubs?

haha yeah that is a big turbo! I'm going to mock it up in the engine bay this weekend so I'll take a photo of it and show you just how big it is!

That is fairly toasty, as 100 degrees Fahrenheit is about 38 degrees Celsius or so... I remember seeing a temperature map of Europe show quite
the heat wave.

Very toasty! My office doesn't have A/C so we hit a high of 31* inside.....at that point the desk fans are just pushing more hot air into your face too......

Don't envy you guys in the sunny states when it comes to heat but I wish I had dry weather most of the year round to work on my car and play some golf now that I'm getting back into it
