I've compared them visually to the 714 AP2s, and they look cleaner at address, at least IMHO. There's a thread where one poster reported that they were a bit more forgiving than the AP2s, which is impressive if that trend holds. I haven't seen any demo clubs available near my just yet. I'd love to hit them with my preferred shaft.

I'm going with the aluminum..originally I planned on the carbon fiber, but Charles (the guy behind it), did both inserts and gave me the second option. A factor in that choice is that insert adds around 10g. As I had modified the weight by anbout 8g with tungsten/glue alreasdy down the shaft before I sent it, this seemed like a better solution for the weight too.

I don't take any credit for being there opening night. It was a fluke, but a nice fluke as nostalgia goes. I didn't know anything about it. It was my hearthrob at the time that knew about the movie and had us go to see it.
