They have had every head I've shipped ready within 10 days. The wait has involved Canada Post and USPS.

Excellent, thanks for the info sir. Now to find out if it's "Bag" worthy or not lol. It's gonna have some serious competition in the Opti 440 and 460, plus if I rebuild my g20 I'll have a 4 driver shoot out to go thru. That should be fun :)

Upon further review this 910d2 is a fair amount bigger looking than my Optiforce, I'll get some comparison pics up later on. Interesting though seeing as its only 20cc bigger really, I wonder if it will be more forgiving??

I'm old enough to have hit a persimmon Wilson, and graduate to a Cobra steelhead. Then I opted for a 325 cc Wilson Orca Killer Whale, took forever to get used to looking at that, seemed massive at the time. When I decided to upgrade again, 460's were available, but I thought they looked like something Ronald McDonald would pull out of his bag, so I played a 400 cc Nicklaus for a couple years until I bought the 460 launcher. Five drivers in 30 years, and I inherited 2 of them. I guess I should delete my account on this site! ;) Wait, I did forget the 4 others, I've bought trying to replace the launcher, and the back up launcher, so the correct number is 10.

The skull and cross bones on this aldila shaft are mighty intimidating though I must say, this thing feels pretty stout just wiggling it around. Even compared to the pl blue, and it's a X flex also. I think it's gonna be a little bit too much shaft for ole Pigems :)

Haha It was only supposed to be a stiff shaft. Yes sir, the snow is melting here and it's supposed to reach 10*c with rain today to melt some more. Took a drive out to the course and range the other day and both are still under a full blanket of white, same with the course by my house that I drive by on the way to work. Still probably a month or so away down here. How's it looking up there??

Pigs,

Was speaking to a few family friends from PEI this past weekend. They indicated this was one of the worst winters that they can remember. They are both 65+ so that is saying something.

1/2 of my family lives in and around Calgary. They've stated that this was one of the mildest winters in recent memory.

Wonky Canadian weather.

I've added the following wedges to my stable of Wishons. I was looking to try my hand at a different sole grind and Kadin offered me a set of custom LTD wedges at a very reasonable price so I took the plunge. I should have bought them last year when they were first released, but so be it.

Love the finish, zero bounce heel, tear drop shape and minimal offset. I've played Wishon's HM Micro-Groove wedge for a season and really like what I've seen. The LTD's are basically the same head design with a different sole grind and finish.

Here are the stock photos (my set will be number 141/250 - which is cool as my birthday is the 14th and my wife's is the 1st):

and spec sheet:

I'm almost at a point where a future Wager is unnecessary. I almost own the entire Wishon line ; )

Vancouver had a record, or close to record mild winter too.

Some guys I know play all year, and were able to get out more than usual this winter. Even though we had some crazy rain (even for us) last month, the courses are in really good shape. Played yesterday on my men's club's Spring home course (we shift through the season) the past two Thursdays and it was in the best condition ever for this time of year. And unusually fast and immaculate green, that most of us are struggling with so far. A couple of guys were above the hole on one green, with the in on the edge of a ridge and it felt like we were playing the Masters. One touch and 5 feet by.

I'm happy someone in Canada has had a good start to the golf season.

Courses opening last week in my area and the ground is saturated and greens are bumpy and slow.

That being stated, I'd rather play in sub-par conditions than not at all.

I was beginning to go stir-crazy in the simulator

Don't forget to take the lead tape with you especially as you are playing it short likely....heavier head might promote tempo IMO, especially if you go in feeling it is stout. :taunt:

I'm only 80ish speed as you may know and just went back to a stiff (stock stiff G25 shaft) in my driver after just under a year in regular. The fairways are now 20 yards wider and don't think I'll lose anything in distance from the clubfitter's launch monitor comparison and on course. At least average...I might get the odd cruncher better in regular when all the stars are aligned, but I'll take consistency and point and shoot feeling anytime.

I had it cut it down 1/2"from stock playing 45.25 about D1 measured. Two rounds at that and really liked it. Added tape and it's about D4 (D3 is stock) and played yesterday at that and am going to love it methinks. As long as I remember to let the club do the work and not overswing, just some nice baby draws point and shoot. Yay!

PD, outside is almost always better than the simulator, I'd take a snowy course over the simulator right now lol. I've been tempted to grab some orange balls and just go out with a few clubs and no knock it around the snowy course lol.

MSOI, my bag now always has at least 2 rolls of lead tape and a pair a good scissors at all times now, you just never know when that stuff might peel off on you. I'm wondering if I weight the head up a bunch on the 910 maybe I can soften the shaft a bit if it's to stiff. I like heavier clubs anyways it seems. :)

I figured you would have tape with you.... First time I've played with tape on for other than a quick experiment. I hope it stays on, though I have just a spare bit at home in case. I just got two sets of those rubber tungsten weight stick-ons from The Golfworks, figuring they would be easy to use and not as obvious on a black club. Didn't stay on, so my clubfitter obliged with the tape. Should have just bought tape in the first place. Just ordered some now from GolfTown online so I'll have it.

Yes sir, ones got to be prepared out there :)

A roll of lead tape is fairly inexpensive(under $10) to pick up, might be worthwhile for you to grab a roll or two to keep in the bag for the odd time you may need it. If no shops around you carry it ebay has tons on there :)

Here's a few comparison pics of the Stable. I've got a sim round booked for tonight so I'll be able to hit the Opti's head to head and also try out the D2 Rip combo. This should be a fun evening, to bad they don't have Agusta at Golfzon lol. Then I can start the build on my fairways tomorrow, still need to find a hybrid shaft though. Any suggestions?? I'm thinking about trying it in steel first?? Anyone play hybrids in steel??
