I've used my camera phone to upload most of the photos of my finds. This was the case this time also. I tried on my iPhone 5 & 6 along with using the desktop. It's no different than my previous posts. So I am baffled by the error message.

Added: Looks like I may be at my max limit and will need to delete some photos.

Go to User Control Panel (under username top right of page); select my settings > manage attachments. This will list the photo uploads you have done. You have a limit of 20 MB. If you're at the limit you will need to delete some.

Start an account at a photo hosting site like Photobucket (it's free), and upload them there. You can even organize them into folders. Then, they have linking code you use to paste into the post window, and the photo shows here. There are a couple different options for link code, the code with IMG included is the one to use.

This is what I do for my pics. :)

Impressive collection!

Thanks! I am still working on the collection. I am on the lookout for a set of MacGregor 693s and possibly MacGregor 653s. ALWAYS on the lookout for a set of MacGregor Toney Penna WWT and MacGregor Ben Hogan 4393s. I hope to add the Wood Brothers Texan Bernhard Langer demo if Fred comes to a very weak moment in the future. :D

Robot-

Really nice collection!

Not very many persimmon models say Right Hand only like these Toney Penna designed MacGregor Eye O Matics with the 5 screw butterfly soleplates

Wasn 't this PowerBilt display bag manufactured by Burton Golf, in Jasper, AL?

As for prying anything done by Dave Wood for Bernhard Langer from Freddie...

Good Luck with that.... :taunt:

Just picked up another Bullseye putter for two bucks at the thrift. This one looks like one from the 80s. The other one not pictured is an old standard from the late 60s I believe, with the original black leather grip. I tested these out and played a round with them. I was surprised to like them and putt efficiently with them. I couldn't figure out why I liked the look and feel so much. Sometimes less is more when your lining things up, and these lines are lean, very clean looking. The alloy is so soft too, and I think that definitely figures into the feel at contact, but what I probably like the most is not that it's a heavier putter overall, but the fact that it's specifically head-heavy.

Maybe this is why players put all kinds of lead tape and weights to modern putters. I've heard things like "lighter putters work better on modern, fast greens" and there might be some truth to that, but if your putter is too light it's going to be all over the place and I can see accuracy issues.

Anyway, curious what everyone thinks about these putters. I've concluded that it's still very gameable and inspires folks, gets attention in a good way. The possibility that it could really freak out the $300 SC putter dudes is priceless fun waiting to happen.

Can you tell me what the point of the watermark is?

That's a question for the ownership. If I had to guess; protecting property rights. It's standard practice on many commercial web sites.

New to this and would like to show off my new catch. Macgreor eye-o-matic 60 Herman Barron Personal Model. Worth????? Don't know how.

Boca,

Let's see what you have. Herman Barron was on the MacGregor Staff for most, if not all of his career. It is always fun to find MacGregor Tourney clubs like you have that are made for their staff pros. He was head pro at a club in the NYC area, I believe. I have a couople Ironmasters putters and a Dri ver with his stamp. As a footnote, he was the first Jewish PGA professional to win of the PGA tour

I see a lot of golfwrxers respecting the Wilson Staff button backs on the forums. I found this pitching wedge at the local thrift for a dollar and replaced the peanut brittle grip with a GP Victory cord. I tested it at the range and really liked it. I've noticed that the W/S iron faces are much smaller than say a Hogan shovel from that era, but it was never an issue and I really enjoyed the accuracy and feel of this club. I would definitely recommend these irons and am jealous of those who have a full set.

Its become something of a running gag started by some random Scottish lad. Calling '99 Hogans "shovels". The ponderous size and thick top line compared to the wee little things "xxxx" must play so well. Quite frankly, he may have imbibed in one to many 'Uisge Beatha' while trying to play them so his opinion has been compromised. IDK. But as always, YMMV.

That's right, shoot the poor bloody messenger...

great looking ,but as I remember they were outlawed at most courses because dem big fat chunky soles leave ruts in the ground, kind of like how spikes were outlawed

From what Teevons seems to be saying, you'll be lucky to find a goat track where you can take your crude instruments of horticultural destruction.

8bit-

They're definitely out there.

This was the best set I ever found at a thrift store. '71 Wilson Staff Buttonback Dynapowers.

Less than two months ago.

Custom Order. All matching ferrule numbers on woods 1,3, and irons 2-PW.

Came with a Mizuno walking bag.

Alex covered it.
