Escorted Trip to Scotland

Looking for a travel company that offers 'fully escorted golf trip to Scotland', which includes guaranteed tee time on the Old Course. I enjoy the company of medium sized group because I would be traveling solo.

Tom - There are only a few (like Perry Golf) that offer a guarantied tee time on TOC. The premium added for that is outrageous. I would never do that. As a single I'd take my chances on the daily ballot or by turning up very early in the morning on the day. If you don't get on TOC there are 6 other Links Trust courses (The New Course is almost as good, if not as famous) as well as numerous other excellent courses just a short ride up or down the coast. I am not aware of tour operators who will add a single to an existing "fully escorted trip". Those trips are usually limited to the group that booked them together as a group.

We are using Haversham & Baker for the 2nd time this July. The service is impeccable and the times at the Old course were not that bad in 2009. The Open is there this year, so we are watching one day, then heading north to the Highlands. They are also getting us on Muirfield and the Renaissance Club. Highly recommended and ask for Chris M.
