IMO, just be happy you are fortunate enough to be able to have an extra $450 to spend on a golf club. I'm willing to bet that 75% of golfers don't have that much disposable income to spend on a single golf club.

If I recall,there was a poll at the very beginning that essentially asked "would you buy a method 006." As golfwrx has all of our emails, why not give those people a heads up?

Certainly don't feel like I "deserved" a putter, only the opportunity to spend $450 plus on one. And I feel like the people who said LONG ago that they would purchase one should've been given priority.

I truly and psyched for those of you who got one on here because I know 99% of you will either display it or game it and won't flip it... right away at least. Though I do feel sorry for the SOB who puts it up on BST first.
That being said, for what they are selling for on eBay you could get a circle t or even an 009 or better yet a custom GSS DH89. I would rather give my money to Byron first, then 'Sticky Fingers' Cameron then donate to the political party I am NOT associated with before buying one on ebay.

As a reformed sneakerhead, I had some serious deja vu participating in this release (I didn't get one). Nike has been doing this since 2012 after a shoe release caused riots in stores. Ever since then almost all of their limited releases have been online or Twitter Link Only (TLO). I do feel bad for the guys that have been pushing this since day one, but I expected nothing less from Nike. I hope the people who still want one can get one on Friday or for a reasonable price.

I fully understand the sour taste in many people's mouths for not getting one. I do not understand a 180 degree change of opinion of a brand due to this release (from love to hate). I'm not sure Nike could have handled it any differently to appease the masses. The quantity was 4-5 times higher than expected. The price was lower than expected. A company like Nike is not going to do a limited release to golfwrx due to lower exposure. Although the ask originated from golfwrx, the putter and Rory are the reason why the putter is in high demand. It seems it was done in the best interest of all parties.

I guess my point is that there was not a perfect outcome to this no matter.

nike lost a customer in me today. I know it might be a touch overreactive but I was planning on buying one for my brother for his birthday next week. I thought about the method matters 006 but why compromise on a product you actually wanted? The worst part is the bots are probably all from sneakerheads, not even golfers. Oh well what a shame, I actually really like the brand and their recent appeal but I won't support a company that doesn't support their fanbase.

Ive been murdering this all day, i missed out like alot of brothers here, I just got an email from Nike.com saying i left something in my cart, It shows the putter and i go to check out, and..... its gone! Just a sick slap in the face lol
