That pic doesnt make his swing look short as much as his wrists and shaft are in different positions at the top. His shoulders and arms are in a full swing position.

I'd say the arms are in "full swing" mode. It's just the wrist c0ck that makes the shaft short of parallel.

Rahm has a great turn. Nice and wide with the arms. The club looks so short of parallel because of his wrist positions. Take a club to the top of your swing, and see how drastically the position changes as you move from very bowed (like Rahm) to super cupped.

Rahm has a great turn. Nice and wide with the arms. The club looks so short of parallel because of his wrist positions. Take a club to the top of your swing, and see how drastically the position changes as you move from very bowed (like Rahm) to super cupped.

 

Rahm does not have a short swing. Agree. Flat or bowed wrist will make it appear shorter. It is very quick in transition, which gives the illusion of short. Now, DJ has a bowed wrist and has a longer swing, but he is really just a lot steeper so the club is more upright and less laid off. Tony Finau swings "short" too. Actually, he does swing shorter than Rahm, IMO.
