Chrome soft X too soft off the putter. It was pretty decent on full shots. I like my balls nice and firm though. Not into squishy balls.

It's a chunk of money...imagine the price with a custom shaft ---y'all don't have to worry about that with the shaft hoarding that goes on.

Then again, who said I was going to buy a $500 driver? Might just go a year younger, get an M2 2016 edition and pay 15-20 bucks with the two trade-ins and my gift card... only bad part is I doubt they'll obligate a fit into a different shaft.

I never tried the regular chrome soft, so maybe the X is firmer. It was still very soft though. It felt like putting with a marshmallow. I'm sure you'd get used to it, but it was strange. I gave PQ one. With his speed it must've felt like he was flattening the ball at impact.

Really underestimated the windchill today but got out to play for @ an hour. Got to the point where I was having trouble really getting a turn behind the ball so I hit the short game area for @ 15 minutes and called it a day. Definitely a borderline weather day down here but if it snows tonight and washes out the rest of the week then it was worth the time.

 

But I'm 99% sure the Epic is in and the M1 and M2 are out. I thought the M2 sounded fine until you hit it *after* hitting the Epic. Yikes.

Almost went out to putt and chip today but did some quick practice (chip) swings in the apartment and decided against it. Still only 3.5 weeks after surgery and I'm not doing something dumb in January.

 

Just been hitting a ton of putts into a rolled up towel making good contact. Will all be moot when the new flatty shows up Wednesday

Went to SkyZone in Gaithersburg yesterday. Kids had a blast, my BIL and I ended up spending about 30 minutes in one of the dodgeball courts trying to keep up with kids that were 12-15. Needless to say I feel like I was in a car accident today. My neck is the worst part, hurts to turn my head.

 

Any recommendations for treatment (I usually go Motrin and some Icy Hot but this feels like it's going to need something stronger)

My pool starts this week as well and I dont think you can go with him. Rookie playing a home game, will be tons of family and fans out there - think there has to be a more "steady" pic. Cant afford to take a loss to start the year the way our pool is run.
