Shoulder is killing me, so naturally I stopped by golf galaxy to take a couple cracks with some of the new drivers. For shiggles, of course.

 

The monitor is useles, unless my clubhead spead is actually down to 90mph, with 200'ish yard carry distance.

 

Epic SZ with stock rogue max, m1 460 with KK tini silver, and F7+ with stock Fuji something.

 

The F7+ feels the best, by a yuge margin. It's maybe a smidge louder than the LTD, which I like.

When we first moved in, we noticed a rabbit periodically in the front and back yard. I then noticed something had dug a hole along the side of the front stoop (it was the rabbit). My wife goes to the co-op (yes, we live in the country) to see if they had some sort of rabbit repellent and the guy at the store goes and gets fox repellent off the shelf. I never looked at the bottle closely, but when she spread it around the hole under the stoop, the whole front yard smelled of piss for a week. It kept the rabbit away....for about 2 weeks.

There is absolutely nothing to worry about. The odds of a 15-20lb fox killing a 10-15lb dog is nearly zero. Will most likely deter the fox from coming through your hood for a few days.

Well, the dog just dropped a deuce onto of where the fox pissed. Whatever that means. It sounds like the wife is going to be on call tonight with the OR, so no happy, happy fun time. I may as well drink a six-pack and follow mtm's advice and spray the yard. It's not I have never done that before

Live in the country... ?? When we moved to our first house in Bristol, we moved to a house on a mountain above the Bristol Motor Speedway. There were some water towers near the house you could climb and actually see down into a portion of the stands. Great HS spot for the ladies.

 

Back to the story, we had a few cats at the time and would store their food in an igloo water cooler (5 gallon orange kind). We had a raccoon problem, 3-4 we thought. They would roll the cooler into the grass, 1-2 would hold it down, then one would grab the lid and eventually spin it off. Also had one unzip a hunting backpack, pull out my little Debbie's, unwrap/eat them, then left all the trash back in my bag.

 

My dad and I declare war. He would leave food out on the back deck and drink beer on the couch that looked out the sliding doors. When they'd come in, he'd flip on the outside light and I shot them. He'd get bored and we'd switch up. Started with a .22 and that just pissed them off. Ended up with the 12 gauge cause why not? 3-4 raccoons ended up being 12-15. Bastards.

I'm surprisingly not depressed about Tiger's turd this week. DJ and JDay also played bad and if he makes it through healthy, thats a good first step. 4 events in 5 weeks, you had to figure he was going to miss one or two cuts.

 

Been surprised listening to various podcasts at how much the players apparently just absolutely *despise* playing Torrey.

 

BTW I've always seen regular size club boxes - the box they ship 3 woods in is doublestacked, hilarious.

The greens on the new course, the green complexes (on both?), the fact that it is set up unnecessarily long and tough - for what is the first stateside tourney for these guys. I think the one course yesterday was setup at 7700+ yards in spite of the torrential rain they've gotten so it played over 8,000? I like seeing tough setups but I can see why guys wouldn't want to play this event in January.

Cool seeing Zak K on one of the little "mini panels" this morning on Morning Drive from the PGA Show. I could tell he gets so monkey tilted when they call it "golfworks" though - so tilting. Such a great dude though and amazing stick. Pretty cool pub.

 

Couple of segments later they did a segment on tour visors and bucket hats. I could picture Fabb and City holding hands and skipping through the Hobbits parking lot.

Yes... I have two pairs usually only wear them for work but I have wore the nurse shoe looking ones before. However, I have also wore crocs with the fur before, so no fear!
