Del Mar 3.5 IBSG

Check this baby out.

Picked this up last week. I expect it may be on the FS forum before long, depends on whether my son can make anything with it. It is perfect except for 1 small nick on the back flange kinda on the underside, shown in one of the pics.

Have one the same in the collection at home. Beautiful putter that gets a few outing a year. Great feel and roll off it. For me it seems to be the streakiest putter i have, either make everything i look at or putt poorly with it. Always been one of my favourite putter heads an will always keep hold of it.

I think the 3.5's are the best putters, i have gone back to using mine and i doubt i will ever switch again.

I use a BB16H myself as a primary gamer.

 

My 8 year old daughter started juniorgolf classes last week. I let her try 5 different putter styles. She now "games" a Wilson TP XVIII which is the same style. I guess I know where my BB16H is going in 12 years.

 

I missed out on the 3balls sale of the Del Mars. I was too busy negotiating a deal on a XRossa TM 600. Eventually I will have a IBSG to compare :russian_roulette:

I've got one arrivingl sometime next week too! The 3.5's are the best IMHO. If this doesn't work out for your son, I could always add a 3rd one to my collection :russian_roulette:
