Sorry, don't mean to hi-jack this thread but I am going to be in Fountain/Colorado Springs from Sept 10-14 and I'm looking for a course to play. I am going to be there for a wedding so I will probably only have time to get 18-36 holes in. What courses would you guys recommend? I dont want to play at a cheap muni nor do i want to spend over $150...

Have not played much down there much so probably not going to be much help... but I think the better rated courses are:

[b]Air Force Academy[/b] (not sure which course and may need someone to get you on....not sure how it works there...)
[b]Broadmoor[/b] (One of the higher rated courses in the state but I think might be on your price limit)

Kissing Camels (never played but hear it is good... not sure if has public access)
Shinning Mountain Golf (Never played so not sure...)
Pine Creek (Decent as I recall)
Patty Jewett (Public but pretty decent)
Monument Hill CC (never played...)
4 Mile Ranch (Interesting that is for sure...but a drive though, in Cannon City)

Just got back from my trip, and I must say there are some beautiful courses out there in Colorado. Great course designs with some amazing surrounding views
