onoff cb 247, just pulled the trigger

I was really thinking I wanted the onoff kuros as my cb set. Seemed really appealing and I may get them at some point when they are more available used with shaft options. But in looking for them, I found something I couldn't pass up, even if I end up selling and not liking. I got some onoff cb247 (I think) with roddio i10s shafts for as cheap as I could possibly put miura at the end of a roddio stick. I wanted to try something from Endo but nothing screamed at me from them and while these seem really plain Jane, it is more my style of club and they look like they will be a better transition from my small blades anyway. I presume they are at least from around 2009 or so, not a lot of info other than same or similar heads as miura 202 and Nike tour issue split backs. And as a bonus, the color scheme of shafts grips and paintfill is pretty rad.

If anyone has any more info while I anxiously wait for the next 3 weeks or so I would appreciate it.

CB247's are an excellent set of Irons. They just flat out perform. Paired with the I10's puts this
set at the top of the list.

Nice. I'll be very surprised if it's not love at first swing..

I'd second what iDrive says. I'm playing 247's at the moment -- a beautiful set refinished in copper -- and I came from Miura and Yamaha blades. They're soft as butter, wonderful feel, plenty long. I'm playing mine with Fuji MCI's.

Damn!

Sounds like I sorta lucked into something pretty awesome. Man, I was hesitant but I am happy I got them now. You can them really cheap, and these were expensive comparatively but I thought a bargain at $100 more or less for the roddio shafts compared to dgs200 and really I wanted to try the shafts and figured the head was fine enough to try some carbon iron shafts with.....this is looking like a huge bonus that the head has so much love...I am really excited, this is going to make the long wait even harder!

I just purchased a set of 2013 onoff forged with the 950 stiff. Gonna take a couple weeks to arrive, and I have great anticipation after hearing such good things about onoff clubs.

Ah the 247....it is a timely classic....so beautiful yet so playable....I wouldn't say they're sof as bitter....IMO all the players cbs from on off (11,13,kuro) are softer than those bit the 247 will always have a place in my heart....
