I have the running version of the vest. It is extremely light like you're wearing nothing.

Easy, I think it has legitimately rained in my area in over 3-4 months? I don't remember a real down pour.

Only wet conditions I play is when a golf course has just been watered on the greens/fairways. I guess a spiked/spike-less shoe feels almost the same when it's dry out.

Debating the vest or the jacket, would you say that for the vest a sweater under it would be good enough for the winter or probably the jacket plus another layer would be best

I find that in dry conditions spikeless are a [i]firmer[/i] grip, but I'm more likely to completely lose my footing. As compared to spiked which naturally have a slight amount of give but I'm unlikely to, for example, have my back foot completely slide out on a hard or manipulated tee shot. Almost like how you (or at lest I) used to spit on the bottom of shoes when doing a shuttle run in a gym to get traction, but when you lose traction the cliff is immediate.

Im with you on this it would be great to know with it starting to get colder. Im erring towards the jacket however as can get more general use out of it also whilst its cold.

Did you guys notice that the jacket that nike shows on their main page is different than the one that they're selling. The one on the main page (rory's also wearing it in the picture) has the quilting in the back, while the one that they're selling has the quilting in the front. Sort of strange that they'd be advertising one and selling something totally different.

I have not got my jacket yet, will let you guys know how I feel about it once I get it.
As for the vest, you'd def. need a layer underneath it on a windy, cold day. It keeps your core warm, but no arm protection.
Played with the vest and short sleeve golf shirt last Saturday, it was in low 50s when I tee'd off, no wind. Felt great, no issue. Had to take the vest off at the turn when temperature reached 60s.

I have the aeroloft jacket and really like it. Not puffy at all. Slim fit but the arms are loose fitting a little bit. Moves with your swing really well. Definitely will keep you warm on the cooler and windy days

I wear a large in all things Nike. The large in the Aeroloft is a PERFECT fit. I wore it to the range today (upper 50's, drizzle) just to get a feel for swinging in it as I hate being restricted in my swing. Great mobility, loved swinging in it. Not as good as swinging in just a polo, but much better than many heavier/cold weather items I've tried in the past. Mid 50's were no problem for the jacket. I will most likely tru the jacket with no base layer to start, but I do have some concerns if it the wind blows. I'm thinking I should have a good full report after this weekend.

There are a couple rows of tiny perforations under the puffy rows towards the top of the jacket. I'm curious to see how it holds up in the wind. While I like the 3D sweaters, those are completely useless outside in a chilly breeze.

Ok I have a TW Engineered Sweater coming in next week I think that under a vest should be good till now but may need to get the jacket come late november
