App or program to record scores/stats

I imagine some of you out there use a program/app to record their rounds/stats etc. I would like to start doing this but have no idea what is available.

 

Looking to be able to enter all the key details from the round, such as score, pars/birdies etc, putts, GIR, fairways hit, U&D, sand saves and on and on. I think I remember seeing someone talk about one once where it worked out percentages/improvements etc and helped you identify areas of improvement/areas needing to improve.

 

Am I hoping for something that is not out there?.......Recommendations appreciated

Thanks, will try it out. My home course (UK) not on it, but able to add it manually. Unable to add stroke indexes but unsure of that does anything at this point. Also downloaded golfshot and trying it out as it has my home course.

There's nothing to add, other than the scorecard. GRGS doesn't have any courses pre-loaded ... you can load whatever you want in about a minute.

It's not GPS, it's statistics.

That's odd......I clicked on the link, signed up and followed the instructions. When adding my first round, it asked me to select country, region and then course. If course not there there was a link at the bottom to add course before inputting your score. I noticed my course was not there after selecting country/region but what came up where dozens of courses near me. i did not select them as they were not mine, but if not preloaded what are they.

Adding the data was, as you said straightforward and the data coming back is impressive, thanks

The only courses on there, are courses that have been added by someone.

You just have to enter Par for golf course you want to play .... 1-2 minutes work.

Try swing by swing. I think it's best valued. I only use free version but for 14$/year it's worth it to

If you don't want to add all manually you might want to try GameGolf or Arccos. I personally use GameGolf and am quite pleased with it. It will soon get Strokes gained and then it will really rock!

lots of great features, including (my favorite) the photo option, which auto-loads scores, putts, fairways etc that you keep track on the scorecard just by uploading a picture. there's a free version and a pro version. you'll get an official usga handicap with it as well.

Another vote for the Grint! Best customer service for an app. out there IMHO. These guys answer every single email with a thoughtful accurate reply. So cool, they've seen postings about our upcoming Grint USGA Match Play Fall Tourney; they are mailing me a GRINT shirt and some tourney goodies TO HAND out to my group! How cool is that? DuoTrac Golf is something I've been seeing as an upcoming app that has the ability to track all that, but have you tried FunGolfGPS? It's a favorite for me as well as something I use a good bit.
