I played 18 with the rush and was impressed: Putts rolled true and chips felt a tad softer than pg and I did not have any trouble holding the greens. Overall maybe a little softer than pg but just as long and straight. Will continue to play them and they had them at Walmart and Golf Galaxy.

I found a box of rush today and practiced putting with them and they felt a little softer than the pg. I am going to play with them tomorrow and will post results!

After reading a few threads on these gold balls...I picked up a pack...I said what the hell its $15 for 15 balls.... Great round today and the ball felt awesome! I have been playing the Chrome Soft for quite some time, these felt just as good as them.

Wish they had a touch more spin around the green, but will try and find a pack of the newer balls and check the difference out. But I am impressed!

If just plain bill converts then we will know the new Pinnacle balls are for real.

Today I found 2 boxes of yellow Pinnancle Gold in a local shop - bought the last 2 boxes.

They had the rush and soft but neither in yellow afaik. The PG should suit my game which

is to pitch or chip to the edge of the green and run to the hole (and sometimes in it). At least

with a running ball there is a good chance of holing it like a long putt. The extra distance won't

do my tee shot any harm either. Thanks

follow up: Played the Gold yesterday, boy oh boy they are long !. didn't have any probs around the greens either, my blades sent them up high enough to stop short on the green when needed. I was going to give my brother one of the boxes I bought but have changed my mind.

I'm a huge fan of the Gold myself.picked up a dozen of the new Soft but haven't compared it to the Gold yet. Have tested it the last two rounds with a W/S 50 Elite that got some rave reviews on here but the Soft won out for me. The soft is long off the tee, soft off the irons and putter, and spins great off the wedges for me. Liking it better every time I use it. Ill test it against the Gold next round to see how it stacks up. My other favorite is the OG Duo.

Just take a higher lofted club into the green and you'll be fine...

That's what I did yesterday with blades, found the PG's held ok. My natural game is pitch & roll. Hit my longest drive ever off the tee with this ball - impressed. Want to try the new ones but in yellow. Might have to get the dye out.

Pg is an amazing ball. Period. I think I'll put the Cleveland 64* back in the bag for tight pins and even less rollout...

Also, I choked way down to the end of the grip on the ping 31* hybrid and could hit it 130; full swing under control is around 160...I could just pull the 6...and the 7! And carry 4 drivers...seriously...depending on the hole and what's working, lol...12* had it going today...

I'm slowly replacing woods with hybrids, currently 3 4 5, going to add a 2 next, any recommendations?

What concerns me a bit is if Pinnacle discontinues the PG. The last golf shop I got 2 doz didn't have any more and were only going to stock the rush and soft. Wondering if this is a trend. Methinks about rationing.

Noticed this at golf galaxy & DSG near me too, they also stopped stocking the Wilson 50 Elite.

Have to start ringing around. Got the Velocity as a backup. Scary.

My recommendations are based on my unique ability to play golf in an unorthodox fashion, resulting in a 78 one day and 95 the next...

Buddy shot vid of one of my swings without me knowing...my posture is hunched over and unathletic...left arm is not remotely straight...right arm is tucked close to body...it's embarrassing...and now im so old I dont have the power and strength and have lost 40-50yds off the tee...it's awful...

Having said that, I do like ping hybrids and irons...and after watching another buddy crushing it yesterday with his new m2, taylormade might be in the bag shortly...in fact, I booked 2 rounds this weekend just so I wouldnt go to gsmith and be tempted!

It's now how, but how many that counts.

true, but at least I'd like to resemble an athlete of some kind...and the guy with the m2 has a very short take away due to health issues, and still crushes it...

on the bright side, i did take $6 from matt...cuz he shot 102...we were both pizzed at how we played...heck, i semi-skulled all but one of my chips!

let's see how i roll out today!

this game demands utter concentration...

Just waiting for a golf shop near me to stock these and then I'll try them out.
