The one he's playing today seems to have copper looking insert, like a TeI3

It is the way it is guys. This is the putter he is playing so yes, is a common man putter whos insert you can have without asking for a special release. Hope Nike sells a bunch of it.

Really liked Koepka and his game. Shame to see him (and Finau) get suckered in to the Nike money.

Yeah it's a real shame they went into a stable with arguably the greatest player ever and the current world #1,2 or 3 depending on what week it is, among others. It must be just the money because all their athletes are hacks with their clubs...

You don't think the money has anything to do with it? Keep in mind that they weren't hacks with their previous equipment either, so if the move wasn't to improve their game, why switch if not for the money?

I also don't think Rory has been the same player as he was before switching - especially putting. I don't think Tiger was as good a putter either after the switch.

With the money Nike's throwing around to these players I can't say that I wouldn't be tempted if I were in their shoes. All I said was, it was a shame to see (to me). You can view it however you wish.

With that said, I saw Koepka's new putter today and I thought it was pretty sweet. Kept waiting for a close up of the insert but never really got one. Looks like the Nike grooves are gone and almost looks like a TeI3 type of insert (like his Scotty had).

Anyone have any additional info?

Of course it has to do with money?! Do other equipment companies not pay their players either?

So any time a guy changes equipment and doesn't play well it's the equipment?

What always surprises me when the money argument comes up is, "How do you know?"Do we know that Nike offered more than every other company? Do you specifically know what the offer entailed?

Maybe it has something to do with the company. Having access to the best athletes and trainers in the world. How about tickets to whatever sporting event you decide you feel like going to? Maybe marketing, with Nike you are exposed to a much broader audience than just a golfing audience. Maybe a better opportunity for life after golf.

Just some thoughts.

I wish! Except it's a totally different head shape to the b2-01. More similar to the b1-07, but with a plumber neck.

It is the same Method putter head he has been using all year, similar to a Scotty Timeless. Just has the Method Matter insert rather than the original Polymetal grooves. Seemed to work for him this week though! Shame he blew it off the tee when it mattered. He'll be back soon!

That was rough to watch him during the sudden death. Was pulling for him. Billet putter with a matter insert. He was putting damn good with it.

I looked at my b1-07 and I don't think the head shape is similar to the b1-07. The side with the swoosh has a sharper angle than my putter. it looks a deeper putter too with a higher toe

Thank you so much for that zoomed-in shot! Love it.

So Brooks is using a proto Method Matter B1|01. Looks like they softened the lines in the cavity on his, but it's definitely a B1|01. Nike's putter numbering structure identifies body and neck. Brooks' putter has the B1 body (Anser 2 style) with the 01 neck (plumbers neck). Rory's B2|01 is the B2 body (Anser) with 01 (plumber) neck. I've got a B2|05 with the Anser body and long slant neck on the way.
