Original Grafalloy Blue vs Today's Grafalloy Blue white shaft.. Anyone?

For as long as I can remember the original Grafalloy Blue and I just really seem to get along. I've tried several other shafts, GD Tour AD Di, Speeder, Fubuki, Bimatrix to name a few.

Finding the original shaft has been a chore as of late. I'm thinking about giving the new "white" Blue shaft a go..

Has anyone used both? How do they compare?

Most of the searches I did on here took me back to threads from 2006-2007. Patience is key! . :)

As far as I can remember the bend profile is essentially the same as the original, they tweaked the materials used so it might feel subtly different but you should see the same performance.

I have used both shafts and have the original blue in my M1. To me the original blue feels stiffer. I have a white grafalloy blue shaft tipped an inch and the OG blue in stiff untipped, the OG feels much stiffer to me.

Do you have the original blue in a .335 tip? I have a few of these, but only in .350.. I've had a hard time finding an adapter for my M1. I recently put the original in an AeroBurner and I'm liking the combo.

The new Blue *white* is pretty inexpensive and easily found in .335 tip diameter.. I was planning to try that in the M1.

Yes the OG blue I have is .335 tip. It has a 1.5* tip on it. I tried the white (.335) and blue in the m1 and I like the OG blue better. I just recently got a Fuji pro 73x ts so I'm hoping it'll lower the flight even more

You can still get the original Grafalloy Blue shafts on eBay, and IMO, there's not a better shaft for the price! :)

Just grabbed one new on eBay and put an M1 tip on it. Hoping to get out and give it a go this weekend.

I got one for my Callaway fairway wood also so it feels the same as my driver.

That is one of my favorite thing about adjustable woods - the ability to change shafts easily!

Funny, I was just reading through old threads about these shafts as I grabbed a used 910D2 in awesome condition today out of the used bin with the newer *white* Grafalloy blue 65s. Played the older blue in some other drivers over the last few years and so far, even though its only a few swings, the older blue feels smoother to me. I will see how the newer one performs on the course on Friday.
