Simple question...I have a decision to make for the Spring, and the wifey won't let me do both :P Help me decide!

"The wifey"? Don't tell me... She calls you "the hubby"... and the kids, "the kiddos".

This thread gives me migraine. I don't understand some people's thought process. I was under the impression that a ticket to The Masters is a tough get. Tough as in, I just got tickets to The Masters - drop everything and go, tough. People are acting almost as if the OP goes to The Masters that he'll never be able to play golf again (I'm assuming the wifey will allow him to golf again, some day, should he decide to attend The Masters this spring). Do you people spend every moment of your leisure time playing golf? Don't go to the movies - you could be golfing. Don't go to the beach - you could be golfing. Don't go skiing - you could be taking a golf vacation. The big ballgame? Forget it, I'm going golfing...

I won't even get into the "wifey won't let me do both" thing. I'll just assume it was a poor choice of words and what you meant is you choose not to do both.

At The Masters, worst case is you'll be one of a relative handful to intimately witness one of the sporting world's most unique and prestigious events, shared by millions around the world through TV and the internet - then again, there is the possibility that you will be witness to something historical/epic.

Either way, the decision is a no-brainer. If The Masters isn't that important to you, or you don't care to watch professional golf in person, then go golfing.

Lol...I'm not sure if you're trying to troll or be serious. Either way, I'm going to make assumptions like you have so presumptively done.

I'll go ahead and assume you could care less about children or family, let alone have your own. I devoutly love my wife and children. I respect her decisions and appreciate her input when making my own. As much as I'd love to travel regularly and play golf at the drop of a hat, I don't. I like being at my kids functions and being available for them as a father. I also know how hard my wife works both at her job as a physician and as a mom and wife. Little have I done to deserve her, so in such a way. I seek my wife's input when I want to do something or go somewhere for my leisure.

To be honest, I could go the Masters any year. I really don't have an issue with getting tickets through various connections. I also enjoy practice rounds and maybe one or two days of tournament rounds of live golf.

At the same time, I enjoy playing golf. I loved playing Whistling Straits, Erin Hills, and PV last year. Definitely the highlights of my golf year.

All that being said, it's a difficult decision. My family is already taking a family vacation together in April where I'll be playing 1-2 rounds. And my wife would prefer that I not leave her behind too often for personal leisure with the kids left behind considering she has a life and job to tend to as well as being a mother.

I'm already going to the PGA Championship this year, was invited to play Oakmont and watch the US Open, and have the opportunity to go to Augusta for the Masters. But honestly, for me, going to Augusta isn't a "drop everything and go" thing for me. When I was invited to PV, THAT was a drop everything and go moment. If I ever get invited to play Augusta, THAT is a drop everything and go moment.

Going to the Masters or going to Streamsong is something I could do any year or any time to be honest. I just happen to have to decide between one or another this time around.

Responses like yours, sir, make me wonder. And personally, they give me a migraine.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
