Probably started that way but ground way down to match the Vokey K Grind he used to have.

Thats a bag I could game in a hertbeat. Maybe wedges need some bounce adjustment but other then that would be good to go.

I think it interesting they started with a Tour Preferred model, not the R series. I have always thought the TP had a larger sole and must have given them the best option for his spec grind. Cool stuff.

I would have wanted the EF grooves though!!

Fuji had some prototype shafts on tour called the Precursor, I think a few popped up with the usual tour only dealers. If I remember correctly one was a Shiro and I think one was a Kuro (colors). Maybe that is them but with the Pro graphics?

TMaG opened the Vault for a couple of weeks with a ton of stuff never seen before some time last year. They had 3-4 kinds of these orig. TP wedges that never made it to retail. One was a regular tour high bounce grind which they now offer with the EFs, but I believe one was a wide sole version never released to the public. Maybe this was it.
