Illegal r7 weights add 30 - 50 yards?

WTF???

Anybody else out there seen this? This guy is claiming to make a heavier and illegal weight for r7's that will give you 30 - 50 extra yards.

Anyone??? This can't be real, can it? :lol: :( :beach:

:lol: What a crock of "poop". I guess I'll just screw in my four 14 gram weights and I should see +60yards in my driver. Better yet, slap on 25 strips of weight on there too and that should guarantee +100 yards. Look out Remax, I'm coming! :(

Only if you really need to soften up your shaft almost a full flex to swing it properly. If your shaft is too soft, these will only make it worse.

 

I'm curious as to what makes them illegal. Anyone know? Is it just because it is now modified beyond the factory parameters?

They went for $120. Man theres some suckers out there. I got some xtra weights made up for mine but that was just because I was too tight to pay for a TP set. My mate made em up for a case of beer. It still can't make the bag though

the person who spend $120 for them is an idiot. he could have just gone down to the hardware shop and got some lead tape for $10 and done the same thing.

yes the same guy said they will make you hole 10 more putts a round aswell as give you and extra 20 yards with your putter. :busted_cop: ;) :vava:

Sounds an expensive way to get your driver to swingweight at M9... I'm just going to gaffer tape a housebrick to my Nike.. By his reckoning, I should gain at least 500 yards per tee shot...

 

I'm off now to practice my putting. Idon't want to be misssing those double eagle putts...

i guess it would help if you could actually maintain the same swing speed with more weight, but the inertia isn't increased if you're swinging it slower...If this were true why doesn't everyone just put 17 grams of leadtape on their drivers?
