Man during the summer I was at the course almost all the time. It kinda stunk, because I had a job that wasn't very flexible and didn't really honor my golf game (go figure :good: ). The people at the course would look at my funny when I was there for about 4-5 hours. It kind of makes me feel good when I putt for about 3 hours, because during that time 10-15 people come and go, and I'm still there. Anyway, now that school is in session and I still have a job, I probably get to practice maybe 10-20 hours a week (and my game is really struggling). Luckily I do have a golf class, so that helps me get in a little practice. I think during the winter it will be very little practice and a whole lot of weight lifting to get ready for next season. My handicap is prolly around a 5-10 (not really sure, never have had an official one)

In the summer i get up at 8 go to the course at 9. Putt and short chips for a hour.50 yard chips for 45 min. Go throught my irons and woods till i get hungry and after lunch play til 5. And go golf ball hunting after. Sometimes i will leave early and go to the gym. I get leason by a pro 2 a week. One my tourney days i go play after and work on what i did bad. I am 13 and i maintain a 4.5 handicap. I only use my tournement scores.I am at the course 7 days a week. Even in the rain

despite the inclement weather in Blighty, I've stepped up my playing a bit in the last month or so.

I try and play a round a week, plus 9 holes at least once a week too. Coupled with a 3 or 4 hours a week of decent structured practice, I may achieve my resolution for next year of playing consistently decent golf again and perhaps dip back into playing some team golf...

During the summer I practice 6 days a week and sometimes 7. I normaly get to the course about 9 or 10 and practice/play till dark other than two days a week in which I work at the club house in the afternoon so I practice in the morning. I'm a little different than everyone I guess, I never get bored of hitting balls, all i need is my ipod which usually goes dead before the end of the day. Hahaa. I do take about a 45 minute lunch break though. :drinks:

I play or practice 7 days during the week during the summer. I have pretty hardcore practice sessions, i get to the course at about 6 am and practice mostly my short game but also my full swing until i have to go work in the cart barn at usually around 12 then the next day i will tee it up at 6 and play a round then practice some up and down games until i have to go work again. My golf club is really flexible on days that i have tournaments so its great. I can practice, play, work and play in high level tournaments all throughout the summer. My handicap right now is a 2.7 but i hope to lower it with all the short game practice i do. Plus its difficult to get really good when you live in Massachusetts because you only get to play 6 months out of the year.

70 hours/10-12 rounds a week May - August. (summer months no class)

50 hours/6-8 rounds a week September, October, March, April. (in class and in season)

20 hours dome/nets/launch monitor/indoor putting green a week November - February. (winter)

I'm moving to Ft. Lauderdale next October so it will be 70-80 hours a week year round then.

I also spend about 10-15 hours a week in a gym during summer and in-season months and I'm at the rec center probably 3-4 hours a day, 6 days a week during the winter.

School from 6-2 Monday-Friday so i go to the course from about 2:30-6 Monday-Friday, I usually hit a bucket of balls, putt, and the go walk 9. If im struggling on something ill just go to the range and then putt and chip.

Saturday- I usually go around 7-8 warm up play an early round...and then bucket afterwards...

Sunday-depending on if Camilo is in the hunt of the tourney or not...12pm-6pm if hes not...if he is i go in the morning so i can watch...lol

I don't sleep much, so when theres no school I usually get up at about 5 and head to the range. I usually stay until it gets dark again, i hit most of the time but I'll play whenever i feel like it. In the summer thats the schedule 7 days a week. In the winter, which doesnt exist down here in south Mississippi, I get out there every day after school and hit. I'm 14 and I play to a 3, I first picked up a club 3 years ago.

When I coached DI golf I required my student/athletes to practice a min. of 10 hours a week and they did golf conditioning 3 days a week at 6a.m. We designed their individual programs based off their score and they learn to manage their games by themself. Which, truned me into a bus driver/travel agent. If I can help just PM me.

Living in Tn, there isn't a really strong winter. Its really only cold December and January (Some Feb). So, I can play almost year round. When school is in, I get to the course at about 3:30 Either play nine or hit balls. But, during the summer, I am there all day everyday. Get to the course around 9 Play either 9 or 18. Then I will take a break and grab something to eat. Then I will try and figure out where I lost the most shots in my round, and go and work on that. But, no matter what it is, I always try and practice both full swing and short game everyday.
